The following is very close to my understanding...

In the NT μονή occurs only twice in John’s Gospel (14:2, 23). Probably intentionally, the two statements correspond. In 14:2 the heavenly dwellings which are the goal of salvation (the movement is from below upwards), and to which believers will go after their earthly separation from God, are called abiding places which are fully prepared for them in the Father’s house.3 The word seems to be deliberately chosen to express the fact that our earthly state is transitory and provisional compared with eternal and blessed being with God. On the other hand, 14:23 (the movement is from above downwards) depicts salvation after the departure of the Saviour as a permanent abiding of Christ and God in believers. God’s dwelling among His people is expressed cultically in the OT (Ex. 25:8; 29:45; Lv. 26:11) and is expected by promise in the last time (Ez. 37:26 f.; Zech. 2:11; Rev. 21:3, 22 f.). In spiritual form it has now come into the community’s present. Both passages have in view individual rather than universal and eschatological salvation. Salvation consists in union with God and Christ. This takes place through the immanence of God and of Christ in believers and through the taking of believers home to Christ and to God. The permanence, indestructibility and continuation of this union is expressed by μονή (→ μένειν). In Johannine fashion there is no theological adjustment of the two metaphors of faith (cf. 1 Jn. 1:8 and 9f.).

Rooms or places seem to be the correct term as one of Apostle John's disciples said the following:

Three places he has for his righteous, City of God, Paradise and Heaven above. Based all this on 30, 60 and 100 of those brought to know the Lord
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

There is only one place where all the saints will dwell as their final destination the New Jerusalem.

Mat 20:2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
Mat 20:3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
Mat 20:4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
Mat 20:5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
Mat 20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
Mat 20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
Mat 20:11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
Mat 20:12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
Mat 20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

There is not different levels of salvation to dwell in 3 different places but they will all dwell in one place.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Jesus came to fulfill the law which includes the offices of Israel.

But He has not fulfilled the role of King on earth yet because He came as a humble servant.

And it must be done on earth.

That is what the millennial reign is about.

When the reign is over the law is fulfilled and haven and earth shall pass away.

Which it is done by fire for all sin must be purged with fire.

Which heaven and earth has been tainted with sin.

Then all the saints will go to the place Jesus prepared the New Jerusalem where sin has never been and sin will never be.

And the saints and angels will remember nothing prior to that for it is associated with sin.

Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Mansion
monē
mon-ay'
From G3306; a staying, that is, residence (the act or the place): - abode, mansion.

Jesus could be saying that there is much room in heaven to accommodate every person that saved.

There is not a sign that says occupancy 2,000,000 but it can hold all people saved.

Who determines if the revelation is from God or Satan? You? How can we know? I say I got a revelation from God who told me that all revelation has ceased until the Jewish dispensation resumes (the final 7 years of the Jewish Dispensation.) Now, prove me wrong. It can't be done. Because maybe our interpretation of the Bible is incorrect or we can't figure out the proper translation. If that happens, then we can't determine which interpretation is the right one and which is the wrong one.
Each person gets to consult with God, via the Holy Spirit and scripture, to decide whether you, or anyone else, are right. Some may agree and some may disagree. We are all life-time learners, when it comes to knowing God and His mind. It us not my responsibility to prove to your satisfaction that I am right and you are wrong. It is my prerogative to talk to our Lord about your claims and my perspective and to hold to what seems good to me and the Holy Spirit. And you are free to do the same. We may just have to agree to disagree. But we should not be dividing the body of Christ (all those who are calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ) into contending factions trying to railroad one another across into our own preferred doctrines or teachers.

Nothing in Scripture says or suggests that parables are “heavenly” or “spiritual” language. Nothing in Scripture says or suggests that plain language is “earthly”.

Nothing in Scripture says or suggests that every time Jesus speaks, we should assume it is a parable.

You have taken a few specific passages and erroneously applied them to everything.

Nothing in Scripture says or suggests that every time Jesus speaks, we should assume it is a parable.
I don't know what kind of scriptures you are looking for.
Despite how many times I posted the verses but you keep on ignoring them.
But for the seekers of the truth, I will post it again.

It is the Lord Jesus who said it and I believe in what he said.
These verses are enough to say Jesus is Speaking in Parables
MARK 4:34
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

MATTHEW 13:10 & 13
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

What we understand in a word parables means a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson.
That is why you keep on resisting it because Jesus is not telling a story all the time.

But according to God we have different understanding with the word Parable.
ISAIAH 55:8
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

And so God revealed what is Parables means, a Dark Saying.
PSALMS 78:2
2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

Your arrogance is profound. You earlier quoted the verse that refutes your argument, but you are blind to it.

“He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Answer these questions in light of Mark 4:34:

To whom is Jesus speaking in John 14:2? Was anyone else present?

You will not believe and you will not understand because there is a pride in your heart.

As long as your recognition to Jesus is not a revelation from God (Matthew 16:15-17). Even you study to the rest of your life, you will not reach the truth.

Whoever could not identify who God the Father is. Even it is written in the scripture they can't understand. Because they are spiritually blind.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God's direct testimony is sufficiently authoritative on its own. If you believe it and act on it, then you are considered to be faithful. If you reject it or refuse to act on it, you are considered unbelieving. Who decides? God does (Rom 14:12). Who are we to judge another's servant? "To his own master he stands or falls." (Ro 14:4)

Just answer the question.

Who was with Jesus when He spoke in John 14:2?

Apply Mark 4:34 and then explain what this tells you about whether He was speaking in parables in John 14:2.

No excuses, no criticism, no dodging, no throwing baseless insults. Just answer the question.

The seekers of the truth.
They don't just ask to Jesus but they beg.

I can discern that you are not asking to know what is the truth but you want to criticize.

You don't deserve the pearl & the holy (truth). Because there is pride in your heart.
The Pearl and holy is only for the seekers of the truth.
MATTHEW 7:6
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

As long as there is pride in your heart. You will not understand what is the truth.

I know and pretty sure that Jesus will reveal the truth in John 14:2 for the lost sheep or truth seekers.

PROVERBS 2:6

You have made this assertion many times, but never with any evidence. You have only thrown slander.

Get some integrity.
You have made this assertion many times, but never with any evidence. You have only thrown slander.
It is the truth.
The truth must be prevailed.

If your recognition to Jesus is not a revelation from God the Father (Matthew 16:15-17) automatically you can't identify who God the Father is.
JOHN 8:19
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

Others have given their perspective, opening them up to critical review. When will you do the same?
I'm afraid to interpret the scripture by using my own intellect or from the other preacher.
Lord Jesus is saying the truth.
2 PETER 1:20
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

I know the truth in John 14:2 will be revealed by Lord Jesus. Especially if there is a truth seeker in this thread.

To a Roman Catholic, Mary is a Virgin.

The Church and Authority:
Roman Catholics believe their Church is the original, holy, and apostolic Church founded by Jesus on Peter, the first pope. The Pope is considered the infallible teacher on matters of faith and morals. To the RC, this is revelation from God, but I say it is NOT revelation from God. Which is it? (Cut and Pasted from "what do the roman catholics believe" on Google)

It can be determine if the revelation is from God or from Satan.
If the revelation doesn't contradict even just 1 word of God is from God. Because God never contradict hiself.
But if there is a contradiction even just 1 word in the holy bible then it comes from Satan.

Yes, as long as we can humble ourselves God will teach us.
Be patient and don't doubt.
God is always saying the truth.
JAMES 1:5-8
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Why do you use the “Reply” button and then repeat the quote? There is no need for it.
