What does the Law REALLY say?

The New Covenant was given to Abraham as a promise and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. For me it is the Covenant of Old since we are all children of Abraham by promise to him, and grace in Messiah.
 
To the OP the law say's that you aint good enough and never can be and that's the law. So suck your thumb and come to the cross.
 
Sacrifices/Offerings and the Feast Days – Part 1 of a large group of commands

55 Exodus 12:6 - On the 14th of Nisan slaughtering the Pesach (Passover) lamb.
And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.


56 Exodus 12:8 - On eating the roasted Pesach (Passover) lamb night of Nisan 15th.
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.


57 Numbers 9:11 - On slaughtering the Pesach (Passover) Sheini, Iyyar 14th, offering.
The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.


58 Numbers 9:11 - On eating the Pesach (Passover) Sheini lamb with Matzah andMaror.
The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.


59 Numbers 10:9-10 - Trumpets for Feast sacrifices brought and for tribulation.
And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies. Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the Lord your God.


60 Leviticus 22:27 - On minimum age of cattle to be offered.
When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the Lord.


61 Leviticus 22:21 - On offering only unblemished sacrifices.
And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.


62 Leviticus 2:13 - On bringing salt with every offering.
And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.


63 Leviticus 1:2 - On the Burnt-Offering.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock.


64 Leviticus 6:25 - On the Sin-Offering.
Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord: it is most holy.


65 Leviticus 7:1 - On the Guilt-Offering.
Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.


66 Leviticus 3:1 - On the Peace-Offering.
And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

1st command Be fruitful and multiply

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
 
I guess it depends on how fast you are going over the speed limit :) HAHHA Joking of course MATT....did I miss your Sabbath post this week...it is Friday right?

JaumeJ, you are very sentimental with the old covenant. You like everything associated with it. I bet you think the new covenant is boring and passive compared to the old with all the sacrifices, feasts and holy days. You keep the commandment of the Sabbath every week but we are mandated and commanded to go and preach the gospel under the new covenant and commanded to make disciples of all men in all nations. Done any of that lately? Are you as faithful in preaching the gospel to every creature as commanded by our Savior as you are in keeping the Sabbath? Preaching the gospel is the greatest commission that a believer can be given by God and their is much grace, wisdom and reward in winning the lost through the gospel. Did not our Lord come to seek and save that which was lost (Luke 19:10)? Do you esteem preaching the gospel of Yeshua and winning the lost for whom He died and shed His blood as you do in keeping the Sabbath? OR ... Do I sound too much like a Pharisee?

Personally, I have a great love and appreciation for all of the Torah (law) and all of the Feast Days (of which I celebrate all of them). But I also have just as much of a passion for sharing the Gospel and making disciples of all nations as you do.

Both can (and should) be done.
Many just don't want to believe it's possible.
 
Are you saying you do not know the covenant made with Abraham? That covenant, promise, brit, was God's oath to Abraham that his descendants would possess the Gate, Jesus Christ, of their enemies, the Gentiles. This is the Gospel.

As for my going out and sharing, I will not reveal allI have done personally, but I can say, that I have travelled close to twenty countries sharing the Word, that is, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, mostly to Jews, and they receive the Word . I am privileged in this area of my walk with Jesus Christ.

Do not attack the walk given me, for the thought of how much you have or have not done to share the Gospel with your fellow man has not even begun to occur to me. This is judging another man' servant. Try to respect the teachings of the Word in tis regard. You know nothing of me, and I am the same about you. I pray you are in Jesus Christ always,amen.

There is a terrible "blameshift" in some circles from sinful man to the law of the Most High. The problem was never the law...it is perfect, spiritual and good...the problem is only us and our sin. If we have been tutored by the law we should all understand this.

To prod and provoke one another unto good works is not evil but recommended as a provocation according to the scriptures (Heb 10:24). So don't misunderstand or get too bent out of shape for it is a good thing and it involves the love of God contrary to what you may think. I met a man years ago here in the states and on the street who was from Spain and I shared the gospel with him. Somehow he became agitated and very provoked and it was a face to face confrontation. God moved in his heart and softened it to the point where he broke down and wept. This man experienced a conversion in his heart and God revealed to him something he had never heard or considered in his heart and it was the goodness and grace of God. What had an appearance of contention ended up in with a humble and contrite heart allowing God to be able to minister to this man's very intimately. Thought you might like to know.

The answer: your doomed and have no hope, no way out, just fuel for the fire. That's what it say's.
 
To imply your brother is not doing what he has been given to spread the Word is not prodding and encouragement, in writing it is libelous, spoken it is slander. Please keep your comments away from personal guesses as to how your brethren are given to serve the Lord. He serves also who waits.

That's when one ignores the goodies in the first 39 books in the bible especially the longest psalm of all.
