What does the Law REALLY say?

That law was always love. But through our parents and the world given to us by them and the generations before, we have transgressed and forgotten it. We understood it fully as babies. If you are here to debate anything at all, then what you needed before you can even say food were given you when you wanted it. Then, we all knew God.

Our conscience? You try to make our conscience the same as the written law, and it doesn't fly.
Again, since you clearly are a little slow mentally and need things repeated, if we love as Christ tells us, the law has no application in our lives. Maybe you should write that down on a piece of paper and keep it in your pocket for reference. It would be nice if we didn't have to keep repeating it over and over.

Have I not said that God WROTE the Law UPON our mind? Does not Scripture say the same? So, no. The Law is not our conscious, but our conscious testifies to the fact that the Law is indeed written in our mind. By which, we have the 'to desire' to do that which is good. And what is that which is good to God? Has He not told us what is good?

And by Christ, we have been given the 'to accomplish that which is good' by God having given to us His Spirit.

By the Spirit and the Law within, we fulfill God's Will which has always been love.

Thou shalt not's are not commandments written in the heart, but an added commandment because the law (love) was transgressed. You can only kill out of hate, which is defined by our world and what we see.

The law, or all those "thou shalt not's" is for the lawless or those that without them, would do them more. Or because of it, they exploit or take advantage of those who cannot for whatever reason live up to as mush of it as them. Mischief is truly framed on the law.

And those things of the Spirit is fulfilling God's Will, just as our Lord did and requires of us through Love by the spirit, and not through Law by the flesh.

What I am saying is that God's will is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. It has never changed. His will: Love.

The law is the old covenant....

Obedience to the Law by the flesh is the Old Covenant way. Obedience to God's Will, which is eternal, under the New Covenant is done spiritual, with the Law and the Spirit implanted so that we may have the desire and the will do serve God's Law (Romans 7) which is fulfilled by Love.

Why has God said, do not kill? Because it harms. Does Love harm? So, I will do as my Lord commands and love.

God's Law is good, it does not give rise to sin. But sin, taking an opportunity through a law, deceives and slays. Has that which is good, that which came from God Himself, been made death for me? God forbid....it is sin working death in me.... So then, the Law is good.

Oh, my Lord, I seek your path....short and narrow is that path, because few finds it...Why? Is there any room for those not following the dictates of their new Husband?

Study them, and throw out all that deal with sacrifice for there is no sacrifice after the only one for sin, our Lord's. Throw out any laws about what to eat or not eat except for Paul's stipulations on things strangled, blood, and things that have died of themselves because Jesus made all foods clean. And in keeping with the curse that was nailed to the cross, death, Jesus Christ teaches us all that mercy over rides punishment and death. We are to be merciful.

So stop being afraid of the instruction from the Father. Jesus said the laws are not abolished, but completed. He did this by His Example and personal teaching. Jesus Christ is the Word, and the written Word begins with Genesis, so read and believe it all, amen.

You have all managed to have your new church based on cancellations of scripture. Just read in these forums how many believe in what scripture says about marriage, for it is part of the law you speak so against saying you are new, it is part of what you lash out so against. Almost all cities have streets you speak so eloquently for where it is too dangerous to walk. New cars are now built with special locks against the thieves who live without the law as you lobby so for. The organized church, under your direction, has lost it's power to work for law. You have your way. You are winning for now. God will win in the end.

The church that we have in this dispensation have believers who have trusted in the blood of Christ and have become new creatures, who have a new covenant ratified by that blood making the other old and obsolete. This new church is a body with members in particular who have the Spirit and are sealed with that Spirit until the day of redemption, who are not under the law but under grace and truth through the very nature of Christ. It is His righteousness that has been imputed unto each one when they believed in Him by faith through His death, burial and resurrection and not according to the law. The Holy Spirit that indwells the believer convicts the heart and supplies the grace that is needed to be warned against sin, to stop sin from continuing and to overcome the dominion of sin.

These are things that the law could not so. When a sinner believes upon Christ the blood cleanses the conscience, the Spirit brings light where there was no light. This light gently exposes the darkness of sin that the soul has been in bondage to with all of its effects of guilt in the conscience. Then grace is supplied abundantly to give the believer what is needed to be free from the root of sin and the condemnation of that sin. Old things are passed away and everything become new for the believer. God begins this good work and will perform it for the remainder of that believer's life so that the believer will recognize sin and respond to grace to grow up in Christ. Sin will no longer be desirable and if the believer sins they have an advocate, Christ, instead of the condemnation of the law.

You need to stop being afraid of the new covenant. Christ completed the law. Finished. For a believer, it has done its job. It is thru. The law is made for the lawless. Where there is no sin, there is no law. Christ said go and sin no more. I stopped sinning - I stopped making that choice, why don't you? There will be no sin allowed in heaven. Tell me, why don't you want to go to heaven?

No power can get through the Blood of Jesus Christ to harm anyone who believes Him. It is painful to see a believer is afraid of the Devil. Yes, we should all be on the alert for the enemy's nefarious devices, but with Jesus as our Hero, we have nothing to fear.

I have just done what you did. I have taken out part of what you posted and replied to it only. It is not an honest reply to a post is it? What I posted is a lot more than what you reply to.

Since the instant God put His Holy Spirit into me with the message that everything is going to be just fine, I have had no worries or fears as you have assuimed here.

I read all of the Word, and because of what Paul teaches, I will not say I belong to Paul, I belong to Jesus Christ. If I read less of Paul, it is only because his writings are less. By the way, I have been rereading in the Epistles now for several weeks in my daily study, and I should be continuing in them for a couple of months more. Now when I finish there, I will most likely begin again at Genesis. Now the Epistles are my present study object, however I read in several other parts of the Word daily.

You can't do away with the glory associated with the ministration of death and condemnation (THE TORAH) without exceeding that glory with another, the ministration of righteousness through the Spirit and it is in that glory of the Lord that we behold and are changed into the same image from glory to glory.

13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

Only God is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell (and they who are on His left will receive an everlasting destruction from His presence). Therefore, let us fear the Lord, seeing it is the beginning of wisdom.

The one who does not have the fear of the Lord before their eyes do not have a single eye.

Let's see what He said before He became flesh knowing that He changes not:

Deuteronomy 5:22 These are the commandments the Lord (the ten words) proclaimed in a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more. Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.
He said His commandments are not difficult cf Deuteronomy 30:11-20 and Paul in turn quoted in his letter to the Romans.

But He indeed added more - because of transgressions He added sacrificial law which is the type for Christ.

Because of disobedience He gave them over to laws that are hard to keep cf Ezekiel 20:24-25 because they had not obeyed my laws but had rejected my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths, and their eyes lusted after their parents’ idols. So I gave them other statutes that were not good and laws through which they could not live.
