What godly characteristic do single Christian Female look for in a guy?

So I was just wondering as a single male, what godly characteristic do you Christian female look for in a guy?
 
I can't speak for all of us, but IF I were looking or believed in lists, I would say:

Leadership
Honesty/Integrity
Compassion
A hunger for the Word
A servant's heart
A good steward
 
hmmmm...

i want a dead man for a husband! a guy who dies to his self everyday so that Christ may live in him :)
only then would i think i won't have much trouble submitting to him as a godly wife should :)
 
Honesty and faithfulness, without those 2, everything falls apart. This is sumthing I seem 2 have a hard time finding in a man.
 
I want to find someone who is Irresponsible but Disciplined. Follows the Lord with all of her heart but has a past. Remembers everything but doesn't hold a grudge. Wants to see the world but, isn't afraid to pee outdoors. Knows how to fight but isn't looking for one. Someone who isn't afraid to be moved by something deep but, isn't overly emotional.

OH SNAP! this is one of those what girls want in guys posts. Mah bad ;)

I find that as a daughter of God (after giving it some serious thought) that I find men who have the holy spirit living inside of them to be just about the sexiest men alive because if a person has the holy spirit in them and are actively seeking God and his will in their lives they change into someone so very very beautiful. Its like you have the personality given to you by God but he makes you soooooo much more. For me what God has done as far as changing me is he has made these words dance to life inside of my soul. Honor, respect, honesty, strong good morals, a huge sense of right and wrong, love for my fellow man, compassion, forgiveness, soul laughter, beautiful peace and joy, faithfulness to God first which follows in a relationship, not being able to tell a lie period, he has shown me that hardships are to be turned into lessons that builds character, humility, and wow just so much more and that is just touching the tip of the iceberg. God makes his children to be beautiful souls that shine with a inner light ( Brandon Heath - The Light In Me Official Music Video - YouTube ) So what characteristic I find attractive in a man is well *grinz* God

I agreed with you there is nothing more beautiful than a Spirit filled Christian Woman, who is so full of the Holy Spirit that her face glow with the greatest beauty, I don't even know how to describe it.
 
For me? A man whose heart is committed in serving Jesus.
Because if he put God first in His heart then he afraid to commit mistakes in the eyes of the LORD.
 
Someone who shows that he: loves God, and loves his neighbor. I don't want words, I want to see action.

PS. I love it when a guy has a genuine smile :)

I've noticed some guys have chimed in so I figure why not throw my two cents in:

For me it's humility, someone who understands the importance of keeping their primary focus and affections on the Lord Himself. Each and every one of us is battling a "disease" called the flesh (selfishness), a disease in which there is only one cure; walking in the Spirit (abiding in the vine who is Christ). Just as Peter began to sink the moment he took his eyes off of Jesus while the two were walking on water, we too will fall the moment we take our eyes off of Him.

Scripture teaches that men are to love their wives just as Christ loves the Church and that there is no greater love than to lay one's life down for another. This tells me that the best way for me to truly love my wife, putting all of her wants, needs & desires before my own, is to be Christ centered because without Him I am completely clueless. It's very hard to be self centered if we are truly Christ centered. :)

I pray that the Lord will send someone across my path who both understands and is whole heartedly committed to this principle as I am. If we both are committed, then our marriage will work despite whatever differences that may exist between us. In fact, by doing so, those differences are no longer weaknesses but become strengths because we are no longer looking to push our own agendas but rather we both bring different experiences and perspectives to the table that may help us overcome potential problems that we may encounter. :)

In baseball when a player gets a hit, it improves his/her batting average, which is divided by at bats. So I can honestly say of your list of 7, 7 at bats, I have 5 hits, but the other two I stoke out on. So 5 divided by 7, is .714, not necessary that good on this list, but in Professional Baseball that would be Awesome.
 
I am so laughing. But might throw in my 2 cents as they say... As a man, I can surely say she would have to be as courageous or nuts for some people, commited to the Lord before me, but at the same time looking to me while I love her. Basically, she would have to be part of me and me part of her, so I can look for someone who has those caracteristics meaning that if I know how to serve and worship and etc..... I should expect my better half. So indeed, we should look for the Godly characteristics before, no matter who you are. But then we are to love one another like ourselves so I would say someone who is of God and truly loves. Their is great honor in a couple where true love reigns. And basically al thecrap and divorce etc comes from not looking at God first. And that is the first commendment, the second I just mentioned. so yeah God loving,God fearing. It works both ways, my opinion.
