What I think about dating

I haven't dated much in my life as girls were never attracted to me as a kid which is fine because I had standards. I wouldn't date someone simply to have a girlfriend I had to do it because we truly liked each other. as a kid even in middle school you were cool if you had a girl, but I have always been different so I didn't follow that and besides i guess even if I wanted to couldn't no girl would go out with me lol.

But now that I am older more mature( to an extent) and am a Christian I have a certain ways of being a boyfriend. First is if I am less attracted to her because of her looks then I am not mature enough for her, also I would treat her as a princess of course who wouldn't? another thing is I would love to surprise her with romantic surprises, like randomly on any day she would come home and there was candle lights a trail of roses and a table with dinner that i cooked for her. I have noticed however that I have never met another man who would do things like that, i mean women watch all these romantic movies of men doing these things and its obvious they absolutely love those romantic stuff but i never see ppl do these things.

Maybe im just naive or maybe just am weird but I think this kind of romantic stuff would be perfect
 
Blain, there are other men who behave in the way you describe but not many and they all get snapped-up pretty fast! LOL
 
I believe that you are romantically inclined. I don't think that you are the least bit naïve. You are mature for your age and possess a certain measure of wisdom.
 
I am more into the idea of courtship and with someone you can see marriage and children down the road.

As for the romance stuff, I am not really into the flower petals everywhere or lit candles in the bathroom or what not. I see romance as taking a country drive, doing chores, working on a project, taking a walk, or just sitting on the couch snuggled up with each other in peace and quiet. Although I wouldn't mind flowers every once in a while, but picking a flower while taking a walk is much more romantic.

All of the above is romance too. Romance is just being with that special one.

Wow! What can I say, I am speechless. I know that I have been told that I don't fit into any specific category and I am one of a kind, but I always thought people were being nice. However, it seems as though more and more people are saying it, I better be believing it. Thank you for the kind words that made me tear up.

Do you write Poems, Blain?

It might be thought as old fashioned, ridiculous, etc. but, when you love, those words comes so easy and, on the other side, that woman who could pay attention on you, would know portions of your thoughts and feelings when she starts reading at those things you would explore as painting with words and the fingers of emotions.

Here, on CC, I found out a person who wrote in a way I fell in love. If I was her age (other things I´m not) I would have done something more to reach out her. She´s so lovable and special that I´m not ashamed to say I loved her when reading her thoughts (at least).
 
my ex-bf Carl used to buy me roses every now and then, for no particular reason. I finally told him to buy me silk roses instead cuz real ones die..lol..

I was never good at writing poems I cant seem to get the style of writing it, I can however write short stories I have a gift for that and I often times do pour my heart out and fill my posts with love when I talk about God.

Maybe I´m wrong (not realy concerend on that, either) but, the only thing that draws me about ETERNITY is not that I will travel the outter space, instead the inner space of people´s minds and their souls. here, as long as I can read, that´s the only thing I see.

I have read too little about you posts, and you surely are a mixture like strawberries and a sweety cake ...

My suggestion, if I´m being permitted, it is to explore you the more on those areas YOU LIKE.

In my walk on CC I have seen your posts (and feelings) have been honestly liked, because you are honest and, any record of your earthly trip will remind you the man you are (and the person you wanted).

Just do not permit the world change you to be somewhat discouraged or desillusioned.

Yes! I disagree with those colors faded
when its perfume disappears
and those feelings seemed like
asking -each day- a new resolution
to proclaim "I love you"
Even winter comes after autum or
when petals looked sunburn, ´cause love
survided storms and there´s nothing
to live without it.
 
How lovely it is to read the posts of brothers and sisters filled with love - this is how it should be always.
