How is that possible? I think if you can ignore it, it won't be Jesus. If it's Jesus' return, every knee will bow and every tongue confess. It will be inevitable that we will know.

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Unless those verses referred to the resurrection of Jesus. I know that at least some of the "second coming" verses do refer to the return from the grave.

consider this...

If Paul wrote 2Thess. about 51-52 ad and he is wording these things as if they had not taken place yet(fulfilled by Jesus 20 years prior)...then Paul fully knowing Jesus had come prior to this would be saying it had been fulfilled instead of going to be future tense.

Hi iamsoandso. Most people assume those verses are speaking about the physical return of Christ. The more I read, the more I think that view is incorrect.

There never was a plan "B", nor will there ever be one. No legit dispensationalist believes that anyways. The only concept in dispenationalism is that God has a plan, a schedule, and all will be fulfilled IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME. Period.

True, and the prince to come shall come from the people that overthrew Jerusalem, the Roman Empire, so it is him that establishes a 7 years covenant, and he will cause the overspreading of abominations for he spreads his occult, false ways throughout the earth, and believes in no personal God, so then God shall put him and his followers down, and this is when it is the end and God stops sin on earth, which the new age movement paved the way to the beast kingdom.

The Roman Empire does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts them down, and although the nations came together the Roman Empire has the dominion which will be extended more than Italy at that time that are of the plan before the nations came together, which is why the Popes have been changing in theology until they agree with the new age movement, but they are already affected by it now the Pope and Vatican, but many Catholics will not follow them eventually.

People need to quit holding so dear to denominations as if they will have everything right, although they could, but if they are wrong that does not mean they do not have salvation right, so do not be alarmed so much and admit your denomination is wrong on this matter.

This is not the NBA where they say out of all the people that competed we are number 1, we are the winners, which seems like that is the attitude among many that claim Christianity.
