The Bavarian Illuminati was an "Enlightenment Era" secret society founded on May 1, 1776 by 12 men that are called the "Ruling Council" all made up from very rich men of different countries. These days, most of the worlds richest people are a part of the Illuminati in some way from Bill Gates to Jay-Z. You don't contact them. They contact you.

Nope. Missed that. Still: The Illuminati does not exist. Everyone wants some deep, dark, secret, menacing group of faceless people to be responsible for the ill in the world, and the truth is, sin is the culprit, and the problems will not be resolved until Christ returns.

Just as God has His people "at work" in the world -- Satan also has his people "at work" in the world. Call them The Illuminati, or whatever other name you like -- they do exist - they [ literally ] worship Satan - and they are very much "at work" in the world. The term "Illuminati" simply means "Enlightened Ones" and it has NOTHING to do with some nefarious group who meet behind the scenes to plan their devious deeds.
There is a philosophical religion in this world known as the "Mystery Schools" and it is made up of all the secret societies and fraternal orders which has an initiatory degree structure. The initiatory degree structure is designed to slowly indoctrinate people into a philosophical belief system by firstly giving the appearance that what they are learning is a secret knowledge, and secondly, by providing material which slowly breaks down their preconceived beliefs.
The "Illuminati" is simply those who have broken through the veil, so to speak, and have come to understand the deeper mysteries of what is taught. These people are viewed as the "Adepts" or "Priests" of the mystery schools. They are bound together in a common philosophical belief system and thus their common every day life will reflect an attempt to bring to fruition what they call the "Great Work."
In Freemasonry for example the "Great Work" is a description of perfecting the individual initiate. One can see the symbolism of this reflected in the rough cut Ashlar Stone which is placed on one side of the temple, whilst a perfect cut Ashlar Stone is placed on the other side of the temple. An initiate joins the lodge and is considered in darkness and ignorant. The initiates task is to "seek light" and illumination.
In the occult (occult simply means hidden) there is something known as the "macrocosm of the microcosm" and what this means is that the lesser is a base reflection of the greater. The macrocosm of the microcosm as it pertains to the "Great Work" is a one world government organised and run by those whom are supposedly illumined. The macrocosm of the microcosm is really just an idea that was developed out of Neo-Platonic Philosophy.
The Mystery Schools hide their religion via the use of a symbolic language revealed in pictures, geometry and numbers.
The whole thing is one massive deception that sucks in people who either join just for the social benefits (these folk never grasp what they are truly part of) and those who really want to know more.
In a nutshell these people worship the intellect of man. It is the age old deception of "ye shall be as gods." They will speak about love and responsibility but none of it is anything of the sort.

Indeed. It's all pure soothsay. Hyped soothsay peddled by peoples own stupidity and old hairy legs who tricks men into seeking power and knowledge and wealth the "light" but when ultimately his only goal is to steal, kill and destroy.
Certainly there are groups of people that do or plan evil things in secret. But there are no secret societies that control events on a scale that they would have you believe. Only the Godless and foolish would entertain it. That's why its important to get Christ's news out there to people so they can come to know the truth before it is too late for them.
I read a book once about a women who grew up around witchcraft and satanism. Things got so bad she got into prostitution on City Road in Bristol, UK. She apparently had "powers" like once being able to make birds just fall from the sky by cursing them. I can't remember what the book was called now will have to look it up for you. Anyway she also got into all that Illuminati and cult pyramid thing. She said she used to meet with other people higher up in the pyramid but they used to pick her up in lavish cars and take her to lavish homes of wealthy people. These weren't common people that only had a 2nd hand knowledge of the Illuminati and other evil schemes but were people that were conscious of it and actually dwelling in the grip of having that power through the fame that evil powers will give you. Anyway she got so badly into it that she was nearly killed and eventually she came to know of Jesus and His love for her through an old friend I think and she was converted and managed to escape with her life happy that she met Jesus and came to know about the truth before it was too late for her.
Her story is poignant one. It shows the "lure" that these so called "secret" cults/sects/religions/whatever can have on people of the world today. Especially Mr struggling working class joe who hasn't yet accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour and hasn't yet learned the truth in the evil behind ALL OF THEM. And how easily normal people can be lured into that because of the promises of "power" and "wealth" that it can bring. But ultimately all it will lead to is your own death.
This fulfills scripture when it says Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but in the end it leads to death.
And again in John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
My theory is a lot of evil spirits are behind most of these cults and schemes. Often they are as blatant as posing as angles of light in some way. (prophet muhammad?) But it goes back hundreds, thousands of years, through scrolls and other records and evidence we have. Most of it is completely pagan of course like goat heads and all sorts of other ridiculous ancient idols & shrines that people think have power behind them. And to a common man, it can seem tempting to learn more about it and even go as far as partaking in things that promote it (school shootings / nut suicide cults?). All mostly fueled by desperation, drugs and alcohol and satans minions who have deluded and brainwashed or simply hidden their real truth to them. They are promised great things from up above through elders and leaders. Some even know what they are doing is wrong and do it anyway! Carrying on until their death or getting out somehow if they're lucky.
That is why we need to do Christs work still. To prevent people going to such extremes in their belief. They go and strap bombs to their chest and blow up a packed airport thinking they will be rewarded for that in the after life. They make their followers do strange and unspeakable things that defy good sense. Not only does this go against all common sense and is blatant trickery but all that happen is satans minions snigger and laugh amongst their selves over your eternally damned soul. Bit of an extreme example and I pray it never happens but for sure from this alone, you can see, we need to do much work still.
Let this be a lesson to all men of the world. To all religions / cults / sects and even gangs. These words are true.
While it might seem appealing to learn about such things like this, know thy truth! There is only one way to eternal life and that is through Christ. All these other things are only there to try and distract you and lure you in with its promises of power and wealth when ultimately all it will do is lead to the total destruction of your soul.
If you are a person who is practicing anything other than Christianity. Be advised and listen to the voice of reason. Listen to the voice of wisdom and experience and be not foolish. Be wise and accept Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour today before it is too late. For no one knows the hour when the Lord returns and He has come to call on and collect all that are His that are in Him.
I encourage you then brothers and sisters of the world. Quote Romans 10:9 outloud and say it outloud That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour who lives today sitting on the right hand side of God and is waiting for you to come to Him. Drop this foolishness and tomfoolerly, don't be deceived like the audience of a magicians show are!

Oh, boy. I seriously believe many Christians just love to live in fear, be paranoid all of the time. Dare I say it, fear is their idol and they love it? Because that's all I see. Spiritual discernment is very important, but this kind of nonsense is silly and counter-productive. I'm surprised some of you here don't jump at your own shadow. Or do you? Probably.
