What, in the name of Goodness, is the Illuminati?

When I talk about the evil guiding this world, Im literally talking about how when you turn on your tv, you see Lady Gaga in a video that mocks Christ, singing about kissing other women or performing oral sex with men she hasnt met in the bathroom of some club, all while your children listen to it, and celebrate it, looking up to these celebrities as their idols. The fact that fulfilling sexual desire and material gain is called the true path to happiness, and that you are an illogical person incapable of reason when you try to warn people the dangers of living this life, is reason enough to turn from this world. The fact that Christians are on the boderline of being "dangerous" and being called a bigot for spreading the fact that you can live a happy life without sexual immorality and material gain is reason enough to know that satan is the spiritual guide of a Godless world, and it is our job to warn the people around us.

Christians are dangerous, just like any group is. The discussion really is for christians, what is love? How do you bring peace, resolve conflicts, find resolution and acceptance. This is our gospel and also its power. If we emphasis the destruction of sin as if it cannot be conquered we deny the very Jesus we believe in. So yes Satan is in many things, and will trap and destroy many lives, but that is as it has always been. The hope we bring is light, love, it shines brighter than anything. Until people personally find victory in there everyday lives, then the reality is a mess. For those in failing ministries, who cannot see beyond a few doctrines, painting the world as a fearful place about to destroy all you hold dear is simple distraction politics.....

Whenever I see threads like this I am reminded of what C.S Lewis wrote in The Screwtape Letters:

What I always dislike is the lack of real evidence. Some people always say:"person x is illuminati/mason/" and I always wonder how they know this. What actual hard evidence (i.e not circumstantial) is there for you to be able to make these claims? Some people have said Nelson Mandela was illuminati. I am not a massive fan of his but I will not believe this until someone can show me real verifiable evidence that proves it beyond doubt. Little pictures, miss quoted texts or the mere fact that he was president will not be good enough.

It's easy to throw a bunch of random circumstantial facts together in such a way so that what you want to believe in can look real. there have been thousands of hoaxes over the years (which you will probably see as proof in itself) Also it bothers me that so many things which are clearly innocent are thrown in with everything else. I just simply have enough on my plate right now to really be too worried about this or go too deeply into these stories.

I believe in God and I trust that He has everything taken care of.

No, the bible warns you to guard your heart, and that loving the earth keeps you away from Gods love.
Yeah, we are to love each other, but that has nothing to do with reminding each other about how we should not let ourselves fall into earthly things.

There is a difference between knowing everything and keeping in mind that the world is guided by evil, and that you should keep yourself focused on God.

Is it really so evil to remind your friend, when they become obsessed with say, watching their favorite football team on tv every week and collecting their merchandise, that they should keep their heart on God and not on earthly things?

Why anyone would tell me that I am doing the devils work by saying we need to remember to keep our heart on God is beyond me, other than they dont want to be reminded.

I have not talked about crazy theories of mind control, or trying to make you believe that an occult group rules the earth or any of these things, I have only brought up that satan controls the earth, and that includes popular media and all the things that influence you. Do you believe that Christ would be against talking about this?

So God is responsible for Islam, witchcraft, sexually immorality, racism, greed, Mormons, a perverse entertainment industry, the mocking of God in pop culture, the new age belief that people can be gods, the push to make abortion legal, idolatry, arrogance, the love of earthly things, the belief that a knowledge of science makes the need for God unnecessary, persecution of Christians, the list just goes on and on.

Did you read about how God called this world evil?

Did you not know that He has called satan the god of this world?

Did you not know that God is coming to destroy this world?

Did you not know that we are literally told that everything on this earth has satans mark on it?

Do you believe that Christians telling people that all the perversion and evil in their everyday living is un Christian? That it is evil to remind people that they should not love the earth, that those who do love the earth do not have Gods love?

How can you be a Christian and also against warning other Christians that satan rules this evil world, and that being of the earth keeps you from salvation? You call these things unscriptural, and that makes me wonder if you are really teaching the scripture.
God is in control of everything, but He has warned us that this earth is /not/ with Him, and that His wrath abides on it. If you are living for the earth and what it has to offer, you are not with God.

jesus said that not one sparrow falls without God knowing about it...and not one hair falls from your head without God's approval...

I can appreciate this post, but until you have some type of experience with it, you have no room to say it's real or not. You simply don't know, just as most here, for the ones who have had some cross road experience between selling yourself for power in the physical when you know its something going beyond that,

In practice, Illuminati is just basically a blanket term for occult believing secret societies. The historical Illuminati started in Bavaria, was exposed by The bavarian government due to the death of a courier carrying some of their documents and was banned in Bavaria. Its all just speculation that they still exist, or if they do that they even go by the same name. If your interested in the original Bavarian illuminati, just look up Adam Weishaupt. He was the founder and some of his writings still exist.

Its a fact that occult societies still exist, and that many members hold positions of power. There are several of them actually. The groups in general are usually what people are actually referring to when they use the word illuminati. You may hear knights of malta, free masons, and the bohemian grove all referred to as illuminati. Many of these groups have members with simultaneous membership in similar organizations but they are not technically the same group.

Have you not read Revelations? Or the book of Job? Or any of the four Gospels? Christ did in fact tell us that satan is on the earth, and that he prowls at you like a lion, because he knows his time is short.

I have heard of Christians who dont believe in satan, but never actually talked to one. I dont believe that you are a follower of Christ if you do not believe His many warnings about satan and his angels, or even the fact that Paul wrote that he was tormented by a messenger of satan.

And I agree with everything you posted here, but the earth is guided by satan, the one God has called "the 'god' of this world". The earth is a dark and evil world that pushes away from its creator, and whether or not you believe it, almost everything in our world puts that idea into your head. The entertainment industry, the scientific community, everything that surrounds you. And thats what many of these people who talk about the illuminati are trying to point out. That the world is guided by the enemy, just as the bible tells us. And not so we will grab our guns and kill each other, but so that we may guard our hearts, keep from this evil world, and follow God.

If you actually watched a video on youtube, one of those "conspiracy theory" videos of "unbibilical teachings", like how satan guides this earth, and uses things such as the entertainment industry, youd see that they actually often are using the bible, and what they are talking about is not "we need more guns gays ruined America women need to do what I tell them" ect ect, but that there are beings working in secret against you to lead you to death, which is 100% biblical. I am sure that is what the majority of people here are talking about when they talk about the illuminati as well.

The bible warns of all of this. We are told the world will receive the mark of the beast, look up all the videos talking about the good the rfid chip will bring the world.

Well, to be fair, we are told that satan is here, and that he will guide this world, and that many people will follow him, and that all these things must happen in order for the new age to come. So even believing that satan actually does go as far as communicating with the worlds powers through occult teachings, believing this doesnt stop it from happening We are told that satan /is/ going to overcome us in the end, and that he will not be stopped by the powers of man.

I think the importance of keeping an eye on the evil forced on you is not to stop it and save the world But to keep yourself from becoming of the earth, and falling into sinful rebellion of God, like people who go out to the clubs often and get drunk and engage in sexual immorality because you arent really hurting anyone and its totally natural :/ These are the things that are being advertised to you everyday.

Did God know we would fall? Yes. Does that make God guilty? No.

Does He have a plan of redemption to bring everyone to Him? Yes, His name is Jesus.

All you have to do is believe in Him and you will be saved. It's that simple!

God will end all suffering and inhumanity one day. Surely you already know this??

Unless you use that in a Christian way, to state idea that though God is God, evil will still rule our "dark, evil and Godless" world. (btw thats what God called our world) That the earth is taking its own path, while God is waiting on those who will follow Him, and then "burn" the "weeds".


God is God and in charge, and one day He WILL put an end to it, but not like people think. I believe it is right to say that He is going to hold /us/ accountable of the worlds woes, and not Himself.

This is one thing that bothers me to no end, when people who claim to know the bible refuse to accept this very statement that God claimed Himself. God created this world with love, but this world is not following Him at all. If the world was really following Him, it would not be the horrible place it is now.

Are you denying that satan rules the world? If you are then it is YOU that denies what is written in the bible.

Jesus even referred to him as "the ruler of this world" in John 12:31.

With that said, are you still denying that satan rules the word then? Even though Jesus Himself called him the worlds ruler?

And Paul even goes so far to call him "the god of this world" in 2 Corinthians 4:4.

So with that said, how can you say, what I said, bothers you, when it is true?
