Last summer/fall I cared for and released 4 Monarch butterflies. This year I have become even more involved. I hadn’t realized it was a project a significant number of people do in an effort to help the Monarch population. (Specifically the migratory population east of the Rockies, in North America. (That migrated down to Mexico every autumn).
I already raised one caterpillar that is currently a chrysalis and should emerge in about 1 week or so and I have 4 Ist instar caterpillars and 1 unhatched egg as well. I’m hoping to find more throughout the summer to raise and release, especially in the later summer/early autumn so that I can tag the ones that will migrate south for the winter. Here are a few photos of the first caterpillar I raised this year:

Reading, writing, making music, sketching, gardening... not in that order. but i just have to do one or the other, and sometimes when waiting as in terminal but cannot bring along much as a book, my small planner is enough. I love note taking and would jot down little things, wc i cannot always return to=(. But reading can be a chore when there's too much required to read.
I have an airsoft M4 like yours. Mine's all metal and has simulated recoil, tightbore barrel and stainless steel gears. I see yours uses polarstar. Mine is just lipo operated. I also have an airsoft AK74u (underfolding version of AK47 used by russian special forces). And an airsoft 1911 that's partly metal. I also have a CO2 powered 1911 Colt Commander bb gun that recoils and a CO2 powered revolver bb gun (Crosman Vigilante). I only use them for target practice though.
