The question is simply does the sermon on the mount apply to believers, gentile
and jew alike?
Traditional christian faith says yes, HG says no.
No for me too. The sermon on the mount is a type of constitutional living when Christ is King of the earth ruling over the nations. He taught the Jews to pray that this kingdom would come to earth.
When Christians today try and apply the sermon on the mount to their own lives, they usually end up explaining the Scriptures instead of taking the literal interpretation.
