Own or have? I've never had a wife or kids. You can't really own those though. Or at least you're not supposed to...
I've never owned a riding lawn mower. I have a really nice electric push mower though. No gas, no oil, no trying to crank it, no air filter, no spark plug...
never owned a motorbike.too many people i know lost their lives to them.anything that costs too much money i dont need.
I've never owned life insurance.
A friend and I were just talking about this a week or so ago.
I don't have anyone depending on me, such as a spouse or young children, so I've never seen a reason to purchase it.
It seems to be a rather interesting and contentious subject in some circles.
I have known some people in situations where the grandparents wanted to take out large life insurance policies on their grandchildren as soon as they were born.
These weren't policies in which the grandchildren would benefit if the grandparents died.
Rather, it was the exact opposite. The grandparents would cash in if the grandchildren were to die.
Is it just me, or does this seem more than a bit morbid?

Sounds like the stock market practice of selling short. Basically betting a company will fail, and making money off it.
Same. But, I'm wondering about your electric push mower. I've been thinking about getting one. Any cons to it? If I may ask.
If you have a large yard you need to get multiple batteries and probably two chargers. Or be cool with taking long breaks here and there.
I got two charges and three batteries. That was a mistake. I got too many batteries. Now I don't get any long breaks.
Thanks for the response! I don't have a lot to mow. I have more to weedeat than mow, so I don't think I'd need many batteries/chargers. It sounds like a good way to mow.

I don't think many adults have a ride-on, especially living in the suburbs, even if they own their own home.
A lot of people just hire some else to do the lawn mowing, and the company owns the mowers, they just use them.
I said a dog because most all adults own dogs. Dog ownership is quite a responsibilty and you need your dog to be registered, it's a legal requirement at least in my town. Children cannot actually own dogs. If you don't look after your dog, you can be prosecuted or fined or it can be impounded. You also need to clean up its poo. There are lots of rules and regulations for dog owners.

who strictly never buy new is rare, polling data shows that roughly 45% to 60% of consumers
explicitly prefer buying a used car over a new one. Industry-wide, used vehicles consistently
outsell new ones by a margin of nearly three-to-one. Since 2000, all my cars have been Toyotas.
They are great little cars and have served me well. Meanwhile when my daughter
finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to overcome her fear of driving (probably
as much a fear of other drivers LOL) she bought herself a Hyundai Genesis, and I told
her she had a fancier car then ever her mother or father did. But then fixing/replacing
the back up cam cost as much as buying a used car used to! But now all and everything
cost wise has gone through the roof. I bought a used car a few years ago and it was
about 13k all told with taxes and fees etc. It was also the first time I bought through
a dealership and it was an awesome experience, I would recommend it to anyone.

Unless you live in Alaska, which is where I lived most of my life. I often felt like I was the only one there who didn't own both a boat and an airplane.
