About as strange as not mentioning the verb form "believe" appears in John nearly a hundred times.

Yes Suze, John never uses the noun pistis in his gospel, but he uses the corresponding verb or the active form of faith 99 times. That corresponding verb is pisteuo and is defined as "a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender. "
So there was some good replies, love, God, grace, but these words would mean nothing to us without the fulfillment of pisteuo.
The most important word in the scriptures is the Greek word pisteuo. Used 248 times, defined in the Vines as a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender. The English has no word in its language to translate pisteuo, thats probably how you didn't pick it up. It was mistranslated into the English texts when they used the words believe, believer, and believing.
Without fulfilling pisteuo or the active form of faith, "a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender," God, His word, His promises, His Grace, even His love cannot be ours without correctly personally surrendering our lives to Him and live a life inspired by such surrender.
Isn't that crazy? The most important word in the scriptures couldn't be translated into the English texts. Those with ears to hear, let them hear.
And the fulfillment of pisteuo is anastasis (resurrection to heaven).
That gets into the deeper paradoxical truths of God. Where we are here on earth tethered to the sinful nature and seated with Him in heavenly places "at the same time." And yes i agree, a fulfilment of pisteuo, saving faith, a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender, is what puts us in that paradoxical place with Him.
I don’t think there’s just one but I’d venture to suggest Faith is awefully important because
