I am still very fond of Country Gospel. One group that few have ever heard of, specializes in putting on concerts in Churches. The group is called "God's Country Band". I actually saw them twice in a very small community church in a very tiny town called Smartsville, CA. Well I have to admit to being biased here. I've known brother Ivan and have for many years. Was honored to do several concerts with him when he was with Gold City and then went solo. Not only is he a very humble person, he sincerely wishes to serve God. Of course he is well known for Midnight Cry. Probably one of my favorites of his.

To answer the OPs the question, southern Gospel is my favorite. Though there are other genres I like that would be the one that ministers to me the most.
