Who can answer this?

When God the Father said in these verses:
PSALMS 78:2
2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

EZEKIEL 20:49

4 Then said I, Ah Lord God! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

Who is showing humbleness before God?
1. My God not everything you say is in Parables. There are words that are not Parables.
2. AMEN

When the Lord Jesus said:
MARK 4:34
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

Who is showing humbleness before the Lord?
1. My Lord Jesus not everything you say is in Parables. There are words of yours which are not Parables.
2. AMEN
I'm sure this is all clear in your head, but it is not clear at all in English.

However, I know your intent because I've been reading your posts for months. I know you are attempting yet again to demonstrate that those who reject your erroneous view regarding parables are not "humble".

You cannot prove anything about anyone else merely by quoting and commenting on Scripture. You MUST quote that person's own words and show CLEARLY how they contradict or violate Scripture...

as I have done many times with your posts.

Good point ! Christ is our treasure and our desire is to b with him . That's all any of us wants . If we let him into our hearts , he will guide us and bring us closer to God which is all the reward any Christian could ever want . Eternity with our Creator and His Son , that's the reward . I just try to remember that absolutely every good thing in my life , big or small , is a gift from God and without Him I dont know where I would have been now , dead , in jail , in a ' special ' hospital , one of those 3 things for sure ! Always thank God and give Him the glory for every blessing ❤️

32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath..../KJV

Now I looked up Leviticus 23 and the phrase afflict your souls and it said it the original language it means to Humble your self.

So God does want us to humble ourselves!

So. How do we humble our souls?

This is the evidence that whoever can't identify who God the Father is. Then he is relying in his own intellect to understand the words of God.
The Truth is God is speaking in Parables
PSALMS 78:2
EZEKIEL 20:49

And also the Lord Jesus too
MARK 4:34.

The Truth is: The chosen of God don't rely on their own understanding. Instead they ask why and how?
And the Lord will answer.
MATTHEW 13:10-15
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

It proves that, you don't talk to Jesus but just relying into your own understanding.

This is the evidence that whoever can't identify who God the Father is. Then he is relying in his own intellect to understand the words of God.
That is not evidence. That is you stringing together unrelated concepts in an attempt to silence your critics. You assume without any actual evidence that I "can't identify who God the Father is" and you pretend that is a solid reason for your slander. You have been basing your dismissal of my corrections on that flawed premise for many months. That just shows how stubborn you are.

The Truth is God is speaking in Parables
PSALMS 78:2
EZEKIEL 20:49

MARK 4:34.
What you completely fail to understand is that those do not say that everything in Scripture is parable. They are specific statements with limited applicability. I have explained this to you several times, but you are profoundly stubborn in your error.

It proves that, you don't talk to Jesus but just relying into your own understanding.
It doesn't prove anything of the sort. You know nothing of my relationship with Jesus. You are proud, arrogant and foolish to pretend that you do.

I do some. Am I humble enough though? I'm not sure.

But I know one thing. I know what being humble before the Lord means because I did a word dtudy on it.
And I'll bet you one digital dollar that no one else on this board can define what being humble is really!

Come on Brothers & Sisters, prove me wrong! Lol
Father and Son lead as One, Won, by anyone's willingness sincerely, all learn new once decide this truth for them too
Humble

Lord

Firstly, the kind of genuine humility that isn't looking for a reward ! That would seem like it's important don't u think ?
I once saw a documentary about a group of Greek monks living on an island . They had absolutely no modern conveniences at all , no electricity , no running water etc . They worked very hard all day on what was basically a big rock in the Mediterranean . Annoyingly I can't remember what the work was , obviously the basics of cooking , cleaning , fetching water etc but they did do something else , maybe processing wool ? Something like that but , they did it without electricity or running water as I already said . It was extremely labour intensive and a very slow process . Obviously the younger ones did the hardest jobs but the older ones did their share of menial tasks . They did this every day except Sunday . On Sundays they fasted and prayed and studied the Bible all day . This was their lives for decades . One of them was interviewed , a younger one , he was asked about the lack of conveniences and the very hard physical work that could easily b done by machines . His reply has stuck with me . He said something like ; it's very important for us to never do any kind of work that would make us feel proud of ourselves . I was astonished . We always think that Christians should b do gooders , in their communities , churches , families etc but no . They looked after each others needs in that they all helped out but other than that , they believed that doing this boring , hard physical work that didn't really benefit anyone much , was helping them to b humble .
If we r only doing nice things in anticipation of a reward , that's not true humility . Personally , I think true humility comes from suffering and recognising our own uselessness and our complete dependence on God , His mercy towards us , His love for us and His generosity towards us . Without Him , being active in our lives every second of every day , we r nothing but a pile of dust . We r nothing and only exist because God is gracious and merciful and generous and loving .
This new life of love and mercy given from Father to anyone that decides to believe God in risen Son, learns new in humility, God remaining merciful, us the people learning new to do the same too, to all, over time not giving up. Not a few as we used to choose, Before Father and Son entered you too 1 John 2:27.
One, anyone that gets sealed by God to see Eph 1:13, begins to see new from God's lead view. Never forcefully, never you have to or else attitudes of people we have even done ourselves to others, usually children and spouses we think we are in charge of. Trying to do right, not seeing the new given from Father in risen Son, the first born self that so easily gets in the way. Seeing it, going in and out wanting to stay in trust to God alone. Then not seeing it, worldly stuff, gets in the way. To one day stop and say, "I" Can't Lord do it perfect, "I want to, "I" need your lead through me, and me to stop worrying over it! that continues to beset me from just trusting you.

Thank you, Lord I trust you, I do not know how you will do this though me, I just know somehow, someway you will.

Then the Epiphanies start happening. The growing up unto Daddy's Eternity for us. HUMBLE happens. As we go through troubles all that believe see this: God is good all the time as good is God all the time, even in adversities

Guilt keeps people down and out. Pride sets others above others as in Luke 18:9-14 teaches me and Romans 2:1-4 14:1-4

Father with Son as Won for us all, is above all, and loves us all y'all. otherwise Son would not have ever gone willingly to that cross, I see and am thankful to God. Otherwise no chance to be saved any other way, Thank you Father, Daddy, PaPa

The truth is: Whoever have the relation to Jesus could identify who God the Father is.
JOHN 8:19
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

As I said in the other thread, you really are an idiot if you honestly think you can make an accusation, provide absolutely no supporting evidence, and your baseless opinion is somehow "truth".

You are the fool whose description you so blithely cite.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

According to Lord Jesus Christ. God is giving grace only to the people who humble themselves.
JAMES 4:6
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Unfortunately, that is a big IF, because everyone is a sinner.
Therefore, God's plan of salvation from the beginning wanted humbleness that accepts His atonement in Christ (Rom. 3:21-5:1, Eph. 1:4).

Unfortunately, that is a big IF, because everyone is a sinner.
Therefore, God's plan of salvation from the beginning wanted humbleness that accepts His atonement in Christ (Rom. 3:21-5:1, Eph. 1:4).

Yes, everyone is a sinner.
As the Lord Jesus said.
ROMANS 3:10-12
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

That is why No One is Greater than the Other.

And God is asking humbleness for everyone.

And by humbling oneself God the Father will introduce the real Jesus recognized by the Apostles.
Simon Peter humbling himself by not using his flesh & blood (what constitutes a person: thoughts & feelings)
MATTHEW 16:15-17
15 ;He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

And so God the Father revealed to Simon Peter the real Jesus.
