What makes homosexuality so bad?

Proof is for alcohol and maths ;) However, if you meant to say that faith is without evidence, you could not be more wrong. Citing Paul (who gave a partial descriptor of faith) is something many do trying to refute that, to no avail. There is lots of evidence to support faith. For some, Scriptures themself giving testimony of the coming of Messiah Jesus Christ is evidence enough, a starting point upon which more faith is laid.
 
Evidence is not proof..You want to prove it? Give me absolute proof of God. You can't, all you have is some evidence. In order have proof need the right amount of evidence, any less evidence there's no proof.
 
Well, if a person is stubborn enough no amount of evidence is enough
We've had people on here claiming the earth is flat, even claiming that pictures of a clearly curved horizon to be straight ....

Ok,

so here's my view. I think most Christians here would agree. I do not hate gay people,nor does God. The Bible says it is wrong. Now my view of God is that He has set loving limits for us. I do not think He just arbitrarily says "don't have sex outside marriage" or "do not have sex with the same sex". I believe there is a reason God created us to be as we are. And I believe if we live outside these loving limits we do damage to ourselves and those around us. Marriage is sacred and should not be taken lightly.

Now you have said that a Christian can not prove God,and God can not be disproved. So if God is real and you live against His laws then where will you be? Are you willing to risk your soul? Is that a sensible decision? You said "you don't know your God is the right one". Has any other god died for you? Has any other been crucified for you? Why would you want to serve a god that wouldn't give His life for you? Maybe you should take some time to think and reflect on the choices you are making in life. Because if you don't know where you are headed you are only leading someone else off the cliff with you. I hope you think about it.

What you have said about faith is true as faith is hope in the evidence that is unseen. Even then, God's creation declares and displays His glory so there are those with no excuse for their unbelief. Glad to have you join our community. Welcome to CC.

Did you read what I said? "... if you meant to say that faith is without evidence, you could not be more wrong." Got any more hot air to blow? It is getting cold out :) Haha you say evidence is not proof but then you say the right amount of evidence equals proof. Double speak comes easy for some.
 
Look all around you. All of creation is evidence of God. We did NOT evolve from monkeys..Or from anything else, for that matter. But you already know that, since you used to be a "devoted" christian. :/ Read your bible. THAT is absolute proof of God. I don't know why you're here, but you seem to like trying to argue a losing point..

Here is absolute proof, straight from the bible: homosexuality is an abomination, and those who do not repent of it shall surely go to hell. As will those who advocate it, or try to argue that it is NOT harmful..
 
Well then, don't you care about YOUR salvation? Or where you will end up if you don't stop saying that homosexuality is not harmful? If what you say is true about being a devoted christian once, then you should know better than this. You cannot disprove what the bible says about sin in general, and homosexuality in particular..

Okay. Well, it IS wrong. It IS unnatural, it IS an abomination to God, and it is NOT harmless to the person living that lifestyle, because they may get an STD. They may get killed for their lifestyle. And if they don't repent that lifestyle, their salvation is in danger of going to hell. How is any of that not harmful?
