They say the punch this year is spiked with the Holy Spirit...Prom for me was a non-event. I was dating at the time and we were both Christians that saw so many people making this a highlight reel moment that fell short in expectations. I hoped my friends could enjoy it, but for many I knew they were going for something that wasn't there.

Well since I don't take GODs name in vain and every one of my employees is aware to not do so around me or you will be sent home. OMG to me means OH MY GOSH!

I didn't go to my HS prom but attended my then-boyfriend's prom at the Hotel DuPont in Delaware. It looked a lot like this vintage photo from the 70's. My dress was the exact same color as that mint green one in the photo (and I made it myself!). We ladies either wore our long hair straight down or had a picked out 'fro like the gal in the baby blue dress. We danced to B.T.O., Earth Wind & Fire, Wings, KC & the Sunshine Band, E.L.O., Ohio Players, Grand Funk, Elton John, Bee Gees... :o Good times!

Lighten up. You obviously are unaware of my encounter two days ago for writing the same three letters.
 
I went to prom in my senior year with a girl who was (and is) totally blind (we went as friends). We both had a good time.

And as a side note, it was the first time that I heard the song "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" by the group Crash Test Dummies. ;)
