I don't like it when men are dirty. I know not all of them are...but a good amount of men don't floss, brush their teeth twice a day, they lay down on their beds even if they are sweaty, they don't clean their sneakers after stepping in mud from the rain etc.
Some people don't shower everyday. I know women do this too. I find it gross. lol

I don't need a guy to wax his brows or anything extra like that...but I def need him to be clean and care about basic hygiene. I've heard horror stories from married women who put on freshly cleaned bedsheets only for their husbands to mow the lawn and go take a nap on them.:eek::eek:

Hormones are extracted from it that go into the making of contraceptives :geek:
Really? Well that's just one more reason to use abstinence as your method of birth control.

This cracked me up. This could be a new trend in pro abstinence sex ed classes. Like - "also kids, you have to know condoms are made in Israel. Think about it".

The last thing a man wants to know is "what a woman does not like about him."

Ask any married or better yet, divorced man. :)

I know you were joking and so am I. It's funny only 'cause it's true. :)

What I don't like about men, and even though I don't put anyone down, some things are deal breakers.
Men who assume they are smarter than me
Men who put themselves down joking or not
Men who don't put God in the forefront of every decision
Men who have lots of baggage and bring that into the relationship
Men who are wrapped up in their own interests and don't have time for other's ideas
Men who are insecure and/or lack confidence in themselves.
Thank goodness the list of what I do like is longer😂
wow that is a list.. i fail on lots of them...
1. I never think i am smarter. i judge the fruits. usually most are smarter than I
2. SAdly i do put myself down. as i see no good within . it upto God and others to edify me. not for me to edify myself.
3. sadly again i am livign in my flesh and not everythough is captive .
4. baggage is what we get as we experience life. some baggage helps us. other baggage distracts us
5. i like new things to try and so sharing interests is good
6. yes i am totaly insecure. that is why i need jesus

Great Scott! I'm... a woman?

I have no use for hot wings, or spicy anything. And beer smells like horse urine.

Redeye coffee is for pouring on tomato plants to make them grow.

I do NOT look good with extra weight. I know because I currently have it, and I don't look nearly as good as two years ago when I was able to bike to my job.

So I guess I'm a woman now. Ah well. It could be worse. Men becoming women is currently rather trendy.
Didn't a man win the woman-of-the-year award last year? So it makes sense that men obviously know how to be better women than even women do.

(And you're right about Scott).

helpful women info for men

if a woman points out something is not right, why not fix it there and then or at least say I'll get on to it instead of refusing it look it at for ages till it breaks beyond repair.
Because; simply pointing out that something is broken when you actually want it fixed is a passive-imperative. Well, that's unacceptable; so we treat it as a narrative instead. The problem is that "the vaccum is broken" is a really boring story. If you had said zombies attacked the house and you broke the vaccum fighting off the zombies; you might get superior results.

A passive-imperative! What a beautiful use of words. Poetic actually. It fits well when I was doing contract work at a small college. I had nothing to do with this except as witness, but I was with the Director of Facilities of the college. The Director was well educated and maintained the college brilliantly and if there was something even as small as a broken bottle on the edge of campus he knew about it and had it removed. He was that kind of guy.

A woman who was a staff member walked up to us and said "Mr. Huntington is one of our Board of Directors members and informed me there is a piece of roofing or metal misplaced on the roof of the bell tower and that it looked untidy." "Could you look into that?"

This was a passive-imperative, but with a twist. The Director knew about this issue of course. There was a storm just a day or two before that dislodged a peak flashing from the bell tower roof. The roof was at a 12 to 16" pitch, very steep, and would require a 120' lift boom to reach. Also, not knowing if the flashing could be reused, another was ordered just in case. In short, a great deal of preparation and money and timing went into such a repair. The boom would disrupt parking, the personnel had to be competent roofers, the boom rental would need to arrive at a specific time, etc. etc. And the Director knew and had accomplished all this.

That's when his eyes flashed a dullness of disappointment. Mr. Huntington thought it looked "untidy" and sent a messenger to ensure this needed repair immediately. And it was repaired immediately and efficiently but the only thing Mr. Huntington knew is that his orders were fulfilled and that this so called Director of Facilities paid little attention to detail. His imperative was fulfilled because of his sharp eye and his narcissistic self evaluation was intact.

I went on and on, didn't I. Only this. Passive imperatives, so eloquently said, are driven by pride, the one thing our God of Israel commands us to avoid.

I always thought that subtle hints like "honey, the vaccum isn't working" was a nice way of asking for help.
Turns out my husband (and apparently many other men) view that as nagging and complaining.
I changed my approach one day and said to him " Honey, would you mind taking a look at the vacuum? It doesn't seem to be sucking very well even though the bag was replaced, and I cleaned the filter."
AMAZINGLY he got right to it.
I tried that a few other times and kept getting great results.
I finally asked him one day why this was, he said "You have not, because you ask not"
(yes, a play on words/scripture from James)
