Sausage Gravy Blond Style Tad Southern

Pkg Sausage chopped up in skillet with chopped onions, sliced mushrooms cook until browned then add a can of cream of mushroom soup, 1-2 packets soy sauce, some liquid smoke, sage, cayenne pepper, black pepper, half and half to thin down to the thickness you like your gravy....you have to taste this to suit yourself I don't measure anything I just give you the ingredients.

I use the frozen biscuits, but you can make your own or use the canned kind..... how ever you want to get or make the biscuits. Enjoy....

Update to old bottled water drinkage........We have lived to type about it.....It is O.K. to drink really old bottled water.....as long as you don't see any chunky things floating in it......lol It has been over a week and we have no ill effects......

I strained all of the chunky floating things out.
 
regarding jellies and jams...

we used to take the kids strawberry picking every spring.
we'd get a few flats of 'em, and what the children didn't gobble up,
i'd throw in a huge pot and cook a little.

then put the mush in ziploc bags, 4 cups each, toss the bags in the garage freezer.
when we needed jam, i'd thaw a bag, add sugar and pectin, put it in jars and then the frig.

i didn't need to worry about sealing the jars, because with 6 kids eating PBJs every day for lunch,
it went too fast. :)
 
Tomorrow dinner will be turkey, mashed potaoes, suffing, of course gravy, as much as I can make. :)
Every year in november, I stock up on turkeys when they go on sale, as one cannot buy meat for such a low price. :)
Well, tomorrow the last of last years turkeys will be dinner, and after that the many other leftover lovelys that are made.
My fave will be turkey noodle soup, later this week, yum!
I do love home made soups. :)
