What did God prove to you of how great He could be through your time with this liked girl or guy?
---
Ok, so, looks like nobody's talking now, I will start...
I went to college way back when and there, the 1st day of school I met a girl who had the same 2 classes as me starting out, psychology and math. Anyway, we walked to lunch for the first month, talked, talked, talked. I think I made a mistake when 2 weeks into our 'lunch walk' I mustered up enough nerve to ask her to go across the mountains with me to watch.my high school play a soccer game. Maybe a bit too Forward, I know, I know. But I did it ...and she said 'no.'
I then still walked to lunch with her , as I remember, but her friends were then meeting us and our dumb (intimate?) lunch time eating by ourselves ended as she was then eating with her roommate and her friends more and more.
Anyway, along came the Fall dance and I didn't ask her to it, in time, anyway. Of all people, my roommate asked her!
Anyway, things tailed off with she and I at that point, even though she and he never meshed more than that dance end October, homecoming dance.
Sooo, November, December cruiser along, I didn't do more then than say 'hi' to this girl in classes and was not eating lunch with her much after that. We were still friends, but just different kind of friends, if that makes any sense.
Next was Christmas break over and January came and classes started up. Only one class goes on for tjisvone month so a lot looser time, this was time I played Castle Risk, whee, and, chess, and, did donuts in the snow
Well, I was out in the entrance area of our split-side dorm of girls one side, boys the other, and, there SHE was, getting ready to go for a run.....
Me: 'hey, Shelley, (not real name, protecting the innocent

) , what are you doing?
She was in shorts over black tights and I knew she liked to run so nothing out of the ordinary.
Her: 'going running.'
My brain started singing, because just because I quit going to lunch with her I still liked her, a lot
Me: ' I like to run. Cool.'
Her: 'oh, cool. Want to run with me?'
Ok, good , good, good, I thought. I played for the college soccer team, did some running in it. I can do THIS. 'Course, I quit running after 8th grade track, never getting under 5:30 in the mile , so, just wasn't' one of my gifts (from God, of course, the giver of ALL our gifts, and, we all got them , oh, sorry my green brain is running wild

).
Me: 'sure,I can go running with you. '
I want to make one more disclosure. I had DONE no running since soccer season ended in early November.
Her: ' Great.'
We went running....talking like drástico the whole time, and, we ran for 1 hour , 15 minutes, talking about derply personal things was me, parents crumbling marriage that started when 12, and, they seperated before my senior year high school started, and , so....
When we got done running, I was not tired at all .
She told me she ran that course the fastest she'd ever run it, and, that the route we just ran was 13 miles long.
And, I was not even tired! 13 miles, 1 hour, 15 minutes , just amazing how God got me through that.
God?
Uh, Yeah, I never ran more than 3 miles straigght to that point in my life and Yeah, God.
That shows you all, guys (and gals) the power of when a man loves a woman

. And, no doubt, before running with her in her half a marathon training run, I was in love.
