It's so easy to tell that you accept the words of God. But the verse I posted are not coming from me but they are the words of God.
Our Lord Jesus knows what is in your heart.

MATTHEW 15:8-9
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Here is another example that in the book of Genesis God the Father is Speaking in Parables.

This warning was given by God the Father to Adam & Eve.
He said on the day they eat the forbidden fruit, they will surely die on that day.
But they didn't die on that day when they ate it because they still live longer.
GENESIS 2:17
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
That doesn't make the whole of Genesis, or even the whole creation account, a parable. I have looked at several commentators on that verse, and none say that it is a parable. For example, Adam Clarke wrote: "Thou shalt not only die spiritually, by losing the life of God, but from that moment thou shalt become mortal, and shalt continue in a dying state till thou die. This we find literally accomplished; every moment of man s life may be considered as an act of dying, till soul and body are separated."

Also, when we compare the first words of Genesis with one of the parables of Jesus, it is clear that Genesis is a factual account:

“1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 ¶ Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.” (Ge 1:1-5 NKJV)

“24 ¶ Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 “but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 “But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.” (Mt 13:24-26 NKJV)

As I said, I'm only listening to God the Father.
And he said Psalms 78:2 & Ezekiel 20:49.

Perhaps you may ask him if the entire book of Genesis is in Parables or others are not in Parables.

If you are insisting that Genesis is a parable, what are you suggesting the parable means? When we look at the parables Jesus told, they teach specific truths. The Good Samaritan was to answer the question, "Who is my neighbour?"

According to the world history. The age of the earth is 4.56 Billion Years.
The dinosaurs existed 252 to 66 Million Years ago only. By that time there were no people on earth yet.
History? Who was there to write it? Science is guessing. For example, you know about erosion. I live near the coast and bits quite often get washed away. And that's in just years of wave action. There should be nothing but rock left on dry land. Also, the moon is moving away from the earth at a measurable rate - about 1-1/2" per year. If it was billions of years old, it would be out of earth's orbit by now.

It is possible to interpret the Bible to say that the earth existed before the creation of what we see now. This is implied but I find it compelling. The earth itself is likely much older than 6,000 years. But hundreds of millions? I don't think so. And science has failed to convince me.

So why are scientists so adamant about an ancient earth? They believe it is the only way that evolution could work. Or they did until a few years ago. Now there is serious doubt about genetic changes being the mechanism for macro evolution. This is atheists conclusions, not Creation scientists. The fact is, they do not know. And yet they complain bitterly if anyone suggests that maybe evolution is not the answer. And the reason for that is that it is all they have.

God the Father is Speaking in Parables (Psalms 78:2 & Ezekiel 20:49)
God's purpose so that Man become dependent to God by asking for his Mercy to reveal the meaning of the Parable.

Example:
God the Father prophesied what John the Baptist will do when he comes. Is this Parable or Not?
ISAIAH 40_3-4
3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

My criticism is not intended to save me; it is intended to help you understand how you are wrong, that you might be saved.

To criticize even the intention is to show what is not Right is a contrast method.

Showing what is Wrong could not show what is Right.
But sharing what is the Truth then False will be revealed automatically.

And you continue with your veiled insults. When you’re ready to return to the topic, let me know.

I'm not insulting anybody.
I'm just sharing the Truth.

As Our Lord did in John Chapter 6. When he shared to the multitude on what is the Truth. The multitude got insulted and they left.
JOHN 6:54, 60 & 66
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Wrong. SOME of Scripture is parable, but most is not. By assuming that all of Scripture is parables, you put yourself in a logical cage.

It’s the same kind of cage that says, “Everything is relative”.

Hogwash. Firstly, you continually imply that I don't know the truth; while I am not hurt by such comments, they are insulting nonetheless. Secondly, much of what you share is not truth, but is your erroneous misinterpretation of Scripture.

If you want to share truth, you must learn truth. You cannot learn truth when you hold to wrong ideas about Scripture. See my previous post on that.

It is only God the father who is giving understanding to a Man.
When it comes to salvation.
The Truth is No One could save another one.
PHILLIPIANS 2:12-13
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

You just don't get it. Either you lack intelligence generally, or you don't understand English well enough to grasp what I'm saying. Either way, you're wrong.

If all of Scripture is parables, then when God says He is speaking in parables, it is a parable.

Please, stop making a fool of yourself.

But I was asking about Genesis. You reply with quotes from Isaiah. Anyway, to answer your question, no, Isaiah 40:3-4 is not a parable, but a prophecy of what John would do. It includes figurative language (John wasn't a road-builder, for example) but that doesn't make it a parable.

The Genesis account of creation is not a parable either. It's truths are mentioned in other parts of the bible as fact, not as a parable. For example:

“And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” (1Co 15:45 NKJV)

Before we take up Isaiah 40:3 if it is Parable or Not according to God the Father.

Actually I did not read the entire book of Genesis yet.
Which part of the Genesis would you think is not Parable?
Kindly mention a verse?
