There are no single Christian men around me in Michigan that are right for me. I do lose hope but the right guy has to be out there somewhere!
Hello! I am almost 30 years old, and can't seem to find any decent single men. Where are they? lol![]()

Too often I've read/heard about women wanting to be found...as though they aren't allowed to look and/or let the world know they exist.
I'm in a relationship because a woman approached me(i.e. - initiated contact on the internet).
I've found that I'm not much of a pursuer. A women has to show interest in me before I feel comfortable pursuing anything. Never been the type to just pick out someone and go after it though I have tried that approach. I'm also very introverted so I really enjoy a women who knows how to talk.

When I did my profile write-up, it was very long. I went into great detail about what I am looking for in a woman and what I have to offer as a man, as well as what I see as my negatives/shortcomings.Interesting! I had two relationships, one swift and fleeting, one extremely long, both men were from the UK, so maybe it's a cultural thing, but both of them said, "YOU were the one who contacted ME." I asked both of them, "So?", but received no reply. The long-term relationship man visited the US with me, and we went to a mall. A woman slipped her phone number into his hand, and he was shocked! I just said, "Welcome to America! Now throw that darn piece of paper away please."
My daughter tried her hand at an online dating site and said she would never initiate a connection. I asked her why, and she said men like to be the pursuers. If they do not initiate the pursuit, they have an excuse that they are just accepting something good until someone else comes along, or something like that. Or maybe she just wanted a strong man. I'm not quite sure.
As as man, do you have any enlightenment on this?
