question...women wear high heels...why? Is it to signal they need a man to hold their hand otherwise they might trip and fall?

High heels are great! I can always outrun any woman wearing high heels. Even if she kicks them off, that takes a couple seconds minimum, and that's a good head start.

But aside from giving men a way to evade... nope, there's no good reason for high heels.
