Anyone who runs ahead without remaining in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever remains in His teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you but does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home or even greet him. Whoever greets such a person shares in his evil deeds.

Paul could not have preached a different gospel than Jesus, or he would have not have God. There is one Gospel.

Satan was the first one to hear the Gospel. It wasn't exactly good news for him, though. Unless he actually wanted to get curb-stomped.

What gospel are you trusting for salvation ?
Im trusting Jesus Christ for my salvation. He said if I repent, confess with my lips and call out to him I will be saved.

Jesus brought grace when he came in the flesh, but example of grace was in the days of Noah. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Genesis 6:8), And Noah and his family was saved. Now Paul said in (Rom. 3:23-25) (v.23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (v.24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (v.25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. So the bible tells you to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2 :36-38). And by doing so you come up under his precious blood and then you are saved from your sins that are past, not present or future sins but for sins that are past. We were all locked under death by Adam’s sin, even the second death. But when Jesus became (he was God in the beginning) man and died for the sins of the world, he gave us access back to the tree of life (himself) which Adam had caused us to lose. That’s what grace is, our free gift our access back to the tree of life but that’s another lesson for another time. So by coming under the blood of Jesus you are saved from your past sins. And if you are saved now, it is on a day to day basis. Because for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 23:3), and if you continue to live you will sin again. It is the willful sinning that you need to put in check. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (Hebrew 10: 26, 27)

(Rom. 11:22) Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. You had better continue in God’s goodness or you will be cut off. This is also the writing of thee Apostle Paul. You must continue to keep God’s laws if you expect to receive salvation.

Paul says in (Colo. 1:22-23) (v.22) In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: (v.23) If ye continue in the faith grounded and settle, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister. You must continue in the faith and not be moved by the cares of the world. It’s more than confessing the name of Jesus, salvation is a work in progress you must take it one day at a time.

It is a sad thing to believe that once you say that you believe on Christ your journey is done. You have only taken the first steps toward learning about the true and living God.

There is only one Gospel—the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

There is more than one gospel in the Bible.

The gospel God preached to Abraham.

Gal_3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Gal_3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

The gospel of the Kingdom.

Mat_4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

The everlasting gospel.

Rev_14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Obviously we don't know the everlasting gospel because it is a future gospel.

And the gospel Paul preached.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Obviously all of the gospels are different.

God was dispensing his grace at different times to different peoples.

Abraham at that time was given the gospel " In thee shall all nations be blessed ".

Rom_4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

God was proclaiming the gospel to the Jewish Nation through Abraham.

Rom 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Israel was promised their kingdom of heaven would come to this earth.

Most of Israel did not accept Christ as their Messiah and her kingdom gospel that was preached by the Lord Jesus Christ.

The gospel Jesus preached is not our gospel.

We are not Israel.
We are not Gentiles.

Rom 15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
Rom 15:10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
Rom 15:11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
Rom 15:12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Anyone who is not saved is lost, Paul when he got saved was sent to the Heathens.

Gal 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
Gal 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Paul was given the gospel by Christ to give to us.

Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

This is the gospel you must believe to be saved.

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Below is the true gospel of how God gave the Holy Spirit to one of God's elect. Freedom from sin.

After God gave me the Holy Spirit, by read the 10 commandments, I found proof that TV, movies, watching sports (violence like football, covet their lives and they are idols), novels, music, video games and computer games are all sins, except Christian stuff that don’t have sins like sermons and Christian music words that gives messages. I found out that in them there is lying, stealing, adultery (Matthew 5:28 looking at someone with lust is adultery), fornication which is sex before marriage, revenge, murder, jealousy, pride=self-pity, hypocrisy, using God’s name in vain as a curse word, they are all idols (breaks 2nd Commandment) because most people can’t live without them and they love them more than God and more. Just read the 10 commandments for a list. You must remove all sources of sin.

1 John 2:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 New King James Version

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Peter 4:1-4
King James Version

4 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

In thee Abraham shall all nations shall be blessed. That's good news to Abraham and he believed it. There was no mention of any death, burial or resurrection for sins.

Gal_3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Did I not make reference to the one Gospel? Yet I know Abraham was given to know the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit.

the gospel of salvation aka the good news would be my starting point,
Interestingly enough, that is not one of the exact designations of the Gospel in Scripture. But it is the Gospel of our salvation and it is called "the Gospel of your salvation" in Eph 1:13.

Why do you dispute with Paul who says there is one gospel ... the gospel which Peter, Apollos and Paul preached. Barnabas was nephew to Peter, he preached alongside Paul, Sylvanus was sent down from Jerusalem and accompanied Paul.

Paul himself was saved through the good news preached to him by Ananias so to suppose Paul's gospel was somehow different is nonsense.

What is different is how the gospel applies to the Gentiles as opposed to the Jews, again it is the same gospel but the Jews perceived it differently.

I think we need to understand that the Hebrew word Basar means to bear the Good News or proclaim the Good News in the Old Testament ----so the Old testament is the Root to the Gospel of the New testament ---which is the Good News ----The Old Testament tells us of the coming of the Good news ----The Old Testament is the bearer of what is coming in the New testament

Strong's Concordance

basar: to bear tidings
Original Word: בָּשַׂר
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: basar
Phonetic Spelling: (baw-sar')
Definition: to bear tidings
NAS Exhaustive Concordance
Word Origin
a prim. root

Definition
to bear tidings

NASB Translation
bear good news (1), bearer of good news (2), bring good news (1), bring the news (1), bring...news (1), bringing good news (2), brings good news (3), brought the news (2), carry the good news (2), carry news (1), carry...news (1), messenger of good news (1), proclaim (1), proclaim good tidings (2), proclaim the good tidings (1), proclaimed glad tidings (1), receive good news (1).

1 gladden with good tidings: birth of a son Jeremiah 20:15; victory 1 Samuel 31:9; 2 Samuel 1:20; 1 Chronicles 10:9; Psalm 68:12; היה כמבשׂר בעיניו he was in his eyes as a bearer of good tidings 2 Samuel 4:10.

2 bear tidings 2 Samuel 18:19,20 (twice in verse); 2 Samuel 18:26; even of evil 1 Samuel 4:17, and so with accusative בשׂר טוב 1 Kings 1:42.

3 herald as glad tidings: the salvation of God, peach (chiefly exilic usage) the advent of ׳י in salvation Nahum 2:1; Isaiah 40:9 (twice in verse); Isaiah 41:27; Isaiah 52:7 (twice in verse); the praises of Yahweh Isaiah 60:6; His righteousness in the great congregation Psalm 40:10; His salvation daily Psalm 96:2 = 1 Chronicles 16:23; the Messianic servant preaches good tidings to the meek Isaiah 61:1.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To be saved according to Scripture ----you need to believe Jesus died and rose again ---Jesus death brings and end to the Old Testament as He Fulfilled the Law which brought the Curse of the 2nd death ---so in my view you are saved under the New Testament Gospel of Grace which brought back the Blessings and eternal life -----
The death, burial and resurrection is not the gospel Paul was given

Really ? I have shown you from the scriptures if you want to be ignorant. And been ignorant don't mean stupid. It means you ignore something. So I will do as God tells me to do with anyone who chooses to be ignorant.

The Lord Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I am a destitute sinner. Jesus died on the cross to save me from the penalty of my sin. I repented and Jesus received me as His own. Now, He is the Lord of my life.

Yes there is many gospels but only one true gospel and that is the gospel of Jesus christ. Anyone can create and preach a gospel anyone can teach one and make people believe it but what saved and what connects us to him in his gospel is love. More than anything his is the gospel of love for only love has the power to truly change someone.
When I was saved I was not taught scripture nor did I come to him because of any pastor or preacher rather I sought to know what real love felt like because all my life I had always longed to be loved but never knew it. When I came to him it was out of utter despair and a deep longing to just be cared about and loved and perhaps in that sense I came to him blind without any pre established beliefs or doctrines and so when he came into me all I felt was this unbelievable warm and affectionate love that made my eyes pour tears like a waterfall it was a true wonder and beauty to experience

After I was saved I was once again without a teacher so I asked God what does it mean to be a Christian what is the most important thing to be strong and he answered me by saying to my heart seek love above everything else and then everything else will fall into place.

even to this day it was the first and best advice I ever receivee from him and to this daay regardless of how many doctrines or beliefs or interpetations od scripture that in all honesty just over complicates everything my faith my doctrine my belief is all set in love and that is why while I am sure some of my beleifgs or interpretations may be wrong the reason I know the true gospel is because of love.
if you ask me we all need to remember how simple and wonderful it used to be with him, we need to remember that nothing else matters except the love we have with him and how that love is the super steroid in our walk with him remember your first love

The Lord Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I am a destitute sinner. Jesus died on the cross to save me from the penalty of my sin. I repented and Jesus received me as His own. Now, He is the Lord of my life.
Repentance has nothing to do with salvation. Someone told you lies.
Why not trust in what Christ has done for us, He died for our sins.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
