But Jesus said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished" Matthew 5:17-18
Jesus was talking about the entire Old Testament — the Law and the Prophets. So how can his statement be reconciled with the fact that some commands of the Old Testament are not required today? Perhaps the best approach to explain this is to understand that the laws are valid in their intent, but changed in their application. Laws about sacrifice continue to be valid, but we obey them through faith in Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed for us. The law required sacrifice, and Jesus confirmed its validity at the same time as he made it unnecessary for us to perform it.

I re-read the statement Just-Me is said.
Not once does it appear that way.
He stated that Yeshua quoted Torah at the enemy, when the enemy was trying to tempt Yeshua.
So either your reading it wrong, or trying to twist what Just-Me said.

What you've just said reveals your inability to understand the gospel like a sore thumb, that Christ, and only Christ, fulfilled the law, in all of mankind's miserable history, this the very fact He was referring to, and nothing else.
You have no understanding of the very foundation of the Christian faith, are of some fake religion, of fake adherence to law you don't keep, nor know how to, and, if you did know how and tried to keep the law, like a real Jew, you'd fail to keep it, to your dying day.
Whatever your religion is, it doesn't exist in the New Testament, period. Your closing also typifies the attitude of a deceiver, that there be no divisions, as you guys never like to have your false gospels of legal bondage and self righteousness called out.

No, my dear, you missed the point of his context. . .he was using Jesus' use as demonstration that the OT takes precedence over the NT.
His principle--person's usage demonstrates precedence--logically concludes as I stated.

I'm not going to put words in his mouth, but what I think he was trying to say is that Yeshua was using the scriptures from the OT as authority over the enemy. Which in healing ministries I've been to, I've seen that done before. So if quote scripture from the OT is healing, then how can it be void?
Jesus Christ is God. I understand His words as repeating what He gave to th eProphets to write down. He is the same always, though a mystery for now. He is One, therefore He is not quoting the OT, rather He is repeating His own words. Since His own words are true, repeating them is quite natural.
Biblically, a "mystery" is something that was not previously revealed, a secret, until the NT.
Christ has been revealed in the flesh, he is no longer a secret.
God is not the author of confusion. Therefore Jesus is not against His Father anymore than He is contrary to Himself. Jesus rightly defined the correct understanding of the law that continues for us today. It's not His fault that religious false doctrine can't get it, or at least understand by faith even if our preliminary understanding might not be complete. Ask and we will receive according to what God knows we can comprehend. More will come as we grow in faith, and continue in prayer. His call, not ours.
God is the Mystery to be revealed in His Kingdom. Please do not teach that mankind understand teh Mystery of the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe They are One by our faith, but explaining it has excaped all mankind in this age, age, adn why should mankind know all the mysteries before they are revealed. We believe what we do not see.

Does that exclude the law of Christ (Mt 22:37-40; 1Co 9:20-21; Gal 6:2; Jas 2:8; Ro 13, 8, 9, 10)?

No man knows all about God. As for He not being a Mystery. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One. This is one of the first things Jesus said to th e Jews. Come the Kingdom He will reveal Himself fully. When people say Trinity, I understand they intend to say the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but explaining how theya re ONe yet manifest in Three Persons is beyond the understandin g of man in this age. However, Elin, if you understand it, explain please, in plain words, without illustrations. I believe God is One by faith, yet I pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, by His Holy Spirit.

It is a beautiful thing that the mystery was first revealed to the 12 disciples when Jesus taught the parable of the sower and the seed, comparing the seed to the word, and the ground to the trusting, prepared heart. It is my favorite parable, for I was raised on a 240 acre farm. Springtime is my favorite time of year, watching God do His handy-work by causing the seed to sprout in the ground relating that to the word in the heart of the believer through Christ first.
"And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:" (Mark 4:10-11)
"And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." (Matthew 13:10-11)

Paul didn't explain the mystery in another letter or epistle. He is referring to Ephesians 1:6-9, previously written in the same letter.

I know that you agree that God uses words to convey his will to us. I know that you agree that God has reasons for when He uses specific words, where He uses specific words, why He uses specific words, to whom He uses specific words, etc.; and that these specific words have definite meaning. So when God said this mystery "was kept secret since the world began" - what does He mean?
So, when Paul by revelation said that the mystery [secret] he is speaking about "was kept secret since the world began"; he lied . . . for that is what you are implying since you are saying that it was revealed in the gospels.
The parable of the seed and the sower is a parable teaching how people will receive the word and the mystery [secret] that was given them to know was the "mystery [secret] of the kingdom of God" and the "mysteries [secrets] of the kingdom of heaven".
The gospel of Christ, "the gospel God promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord", was given to the Jew first. And because of their refusal to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Messiah - it was given unto the Greek to provoke Israel to jealousy.

I never implied that. The mystery of the Gospel (god news) is what Paul is saying. The Gospel was a mystery in the past, and now it is revealed. The Gospel doesn't reveal a mystery, the Gospel was the mystery that was previous to the coming of Jesus Christ, to the "believing" Jew first, and then to the Gentile afterwards.
