No. Spirit-Soul-Body. Huge difference.

Are you three persons or spirit-soul-body of one person?

My body would never ask my soul to give my body the glory I had with it at one time or another.

neither would my body ask my soul to protect those who my soul promised would be mine.

Your exegesis does not prove anything. all you have still is your personal opinion. of which still makes no sense.

God planning to send his "body" to earth to suffer and redeem mankind means nothing.

A personal being who has all the attributes of God in divine form, choosing of his own free will to come to earth, become man, And suffer horribly for the sake of the ones he loves not only makes more sense, But is more sacrificial. Him getting permision from the father, and getting his fathers assurance that if he does this, all men who would believe in him would be saved. makes more sense, and shows the sacrifice one made to redeem us.

But, as I said, believe the way you want. we will all find out one day. What is important is the gospel. And making sure those we love are saved.

Loloy, he is meaning the actual word "person" in the bible....lol serously diff in his view

That's the whole point: they are three, and you are therefore inferring that they are three persons, while Pneuma is pointing out that scripture does not call them persons explicitly and it is therefore an inference or assumption on your part.

it's not an assumption - i'm just pointing out - that he too believe that The Father, Son, Spirit - are distinct from each other - which simply implies that they are independent from each other but yet in perfect harmony and unison with each other. but in His point the Father - is the soul, Son - is the flesh, Spirit - is the body... i'm not convinced for this doctrine...

God has no flesh - God is Spirit -

To be a person you don't have to be with a flesh - for example the (angels - demons)

"i am that i am" is how He answered moses, that really ends it for me, we know it part, we see in part, the full living picture is only revealed when we are where He is - His eternal Kingdom. Nothing compares nor matters. Oneness or trinitarian, never is or should be a point of being a bearing on salvation or to deem it anathma, are we judging ourselves when we do?

God is omnipresent, can be everywhere at once, nothing is impossible with Him, I see three distinct facets to God, whether its three persons or not they are one in unity regardless, thats what matters most. :)

lol - you wan't another passage - ok:D

Why do I say they are in three different person? Because God reveal himself in three persons -

Mark 1:9-10
9 At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

They are separated person's - The Father is not the Son, the Son, is not the Spirit.. The passage show's us that - they are distinct from each other... ahm... if you have some exegetical explanation on Matt 24:36 - please - i need your answer
:D

Like I said, it is not the separate-ness that is at issue, but rather the person-ness. In other words, where in the passage you posted does it say that the Spirit is a person?

And all of Gods people said" AMEN

To make it clear... Pneuma -- can you give us your definition of the word "person"?

Sorry but that's not correct. God is spirit, but to conclude on the basis that He is spirit that He does not also have a body is actually a simple (but common) logical fallacy. The Word was God and the Word became flesh. To put it in obvious terms, if God had no flesh, Jesus would never have existed.

To be a person you don't have to be with a flesh - for example the (angels - demons)

PPS

i see it now. thanks for bringing it to my attention. it is very subtle and most don't think through the logic.

IF when we get to Heaven JESUS AND GOD are NOT one then YOU SHOULD NOT PRAY OR WORSHIP JESUS!!!!

Trinity doctrine opens the door for Islam.

if you don't think that when Jesus went to Heaven and is NOW GOD then you should NOT pray to Jesus. that would be blasphemy. It would be a sin. it is what MUSLIMS ACCUSE CHRISTIANS OF DOING. Worshiping more than the ONE TRUE GOD. IF Jesus is NOT GOD but only "the son" as understood by the world and Trinitarians then you open this door to false logic. THAT IS WHY UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE IS CRUCIAL!!!!

Mark 12:28-30 (New King James Version)
The Scribes: Which Is the First Commandment of All?
28 Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving[a] that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?”
29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment

i'm going to do some more research and see the extent of the poison. this is NOT looking good.

Dear God we need help and guidance. what happened to the Light? where are the lamp post? where do the angels and stars now stand? have mercy upon us, Lord. in Jesus name we pray, amen.

PPS this is troubling.

Typical. Trinitarians hammer and hammer they have the truth and everyone else is a heretical moron... UNTIL... the big-gun scriptural exegesis begins. Then they revert to the pious "we just concentrate on godly living and sharing the Gospel" line as more rhetoric and evasion. I've heard all this thousands of times.

You can't tell people about a Jesus you don't know. That's what Trinis say about every other doctrine of God: "They're all lost. They don't know who God is."

Trinitarians are the most dishonest of all professing groups that claim to be Christians. They have NO ability to scripturally defend their "faith". Yet they're proselytizing others and making them two-fold the child of hell. Or so they say. Most haven't baptized but a handful in a year's time, and none of them know the Word.

Will there ever be ONE Trinitarian who can step up to truly defend their faith from scripture? I highly doubt it.

wow pps that is harsh.

remember without love all knowledge is but clanging brass.

they may still be christians and just don't fully understand the bible yet. not all people who believe as the "trinitarians" do are misguided.

for example most just believe that all three are one and leave it at that as their definition of trinity.

No. YOU exegete it to show the F-S-HS are three "persons". Go back and handle Rhema-Logos. Go back and handle ekporeuomai, merismos, exerchomai, diamerizo, etc.

I don't care about indoctrinated perception and concept. Go to scripture and show three "persons".

Consumed.....Sis, He believe they three are God....the only difference between Trinity and his belief is the word "person" or "Trinity" in the bible......like another doctrine or something similar to Trinity

Jesus had a soul and spirit. It was God's embodiment, not just a body.

You still have no exegesis at all for Trinity; just a gross misunderstanding of mine, which is typical.

Why won't you present scriptural exegesis instead of conceptual understanding and disregard?

i think you misunderstand the children. they do not believe as the Trinitarians do. ask them

How many of you believe that Jesus and the Father will be two separate people when you get to heaven?

If so then why do you worship Jesus?

for Jesus said to worship GOD His Father in Heaven, and we worship only ONE GOD so why pray to Jesus if HE IS NOT GOD?

I am done. Have a good one..You won't change my mind and I will not change yours. So lets get to the important questions.

on to the Gospel. Which is more important.

i just hope people realise this has been going on for centuries and still no break thru:eek:
