Aside from your use of the word "persons," your description is surprisingly close to what PPS has been describing.
ISTM there is no greater or lesser in God, no bigger or smaller, no more important "parts", but that is wrong, God has no parts. He is 3 persons. Not parts. Each person is co-equal and co-eternally and equally and fully God. But the Father is uncaused, while the Son and Spirit are caused by the Father. So the Father comes first in terms of origin for the other two, the Father is the Fountainhead from Whom floweth the Holy Living Water of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. In Erie PA Scott H.

Scott...

I have you on my ignore list. Rather than you continuing to respond here; I graciously ask that you not do so, and simply start your own thread(s). Many thanks.

Where did you hear this? If the Son and Spirit are caused by the Father, who is their origin, that would mean that they are not eternal, since they would have a beginning, at the point where the Father caused them, where they originated from Him.

GOD; To me this is the Mission Get Over Death

LOVE = Father The overwhelming physical Force of both the negative and positive Universes; The Creator of Life and the Source of Love, The FAIR ONE; always has been, still is and always will be, Forever and Ever and Thats that (amen).

WISDOM= I was brought up from everlasting (Pro:8) Fathers Holy Spirit, His Wisdom, His Comforter, The intellectual Spirit of Caring

Love + Wisdom is the same as Physical + Intelectual

Mix Love and Wisom together or physical and intellectual together and what do you produce?

Something that is a part of each; but Not fully one or the other, a child of conciousness; or a peice of commen-sense.

Christ is not the Only one reffered to as a son of God; He is rather reffered to as The Son of God, The First Begotten, The Father as well reffers to ALL of US as sons of God as well; and He doesn't distinguish between male and female, when He says this.

Forever in Christ :)

Which specific Gnostic belief structure best describes your understanding?

Which specific Gnostic belief structure best describes your understanding?

Well it would be difficult to say for sure, as i have yet to read them all yet. The above understanding i received through Bible study and prayer and the school of hard knocks :)

I have though, thoroughly enjoyed all of them so far, couldn't even pick a favourte yet:D

I did though, find the book of Adam and Eve the most emotional so far.:(

No man can see God and never will see God,for nobody can see the invisible God.

Jesus is not another person, but is the fulness of God's attributes manifest in flesh,so the invisible God can have a visible relationship with His saints, and the Son is the man Christ Jesus.

The Bible says the throne in heaven is the throne of both God and the Lamb(the man Christ Jesus),and will be God's visible relationship to the saints forever.God glorified the man Christ Jesus and sits on the throne in that glorified body, which is the throne of God and the Lamb.

God made mankind, but He also chose to live among them in flesh and partake of their world, and to live with them forever with glorified bodies.

Yep. It's not that difficult. All this tripod of God-persons is just ridiculous.

How is it that you twist, what i posted into some trinitarian theory  Someone who even claims he has the ability to teach truth. GOD IS LOVE, what is so difficult to understand about that???

LOVE, The Father Himself; states that He is the Most Powerful Force, I gather you don't beleive Him?

The LOVE, GOD that we ALL, male and female have a part of, inside us. That Love that is easily taken advantage of (mostly through guilt) that when it is taken advantage of, can not only become out of control, but sometimes even dangerous, you know, Feelings of Love?

Our Father YHVH whom art in Heaven (not here) where do you think you are?

The Father of the Covenant made in LOVE, through the Families of Abraham, Issiac and Jacob (Israel) Affirmed and Confirmed in and through OUR Lord, King and Saviour, Jesus the Christ. The Creator of Life and the source of Love.

And He speaks of, HIS WISDOM, His Comfoter, His Holy Spirit

WISDOM speaks for Herself in Proverbs chapter 8, but i have to wonder if you have even read it, let alone study it, as i am not, nor would ever claim to be a teacher of truth; just sharing what i've learned. Funny how i hear so little of the Truth through you, just a lot of arrogance, things hard to be understood and even tossing guilt around at times??? This is Christianity???

I'm not sure who you're addressing, but I wasn't referring to you in the least. I'm aware you're Gnostic of same flavor. It was a general agreement with mpaper about a non-Trinity post.

Well the other post, was directed in general as well, so i apoligize for the mis-understanding. On the other hand, it wasn't a total waste of time, as you have just done what i was talking about anyways, Describing me as something other than a 100% pure practicing Christian.

Because i happen to be reading these books, that makes me something called Gnostic?? sounds to me like something you can stick up your nose or something :D

The place i found these books, promotes them as the Lost and Ancient books and Sacered writings, that have only in the last 120 years, been dug up through arceology.

I don't understand why on your posts, you choose to use such high level of educated words, in an attempt to share truth; Because at this time, in a world spinning out of control with toys and sin; from my studies, that you are to be able to explain this Truth to a 13 year old Child, and it should make absolute total commen-sense; as God, IS NOT the author of Confusion.

The author of Confusion (Babylon) satan, is difficult to understand, and his #1 weapon of choice? GUILT,

GODS TRUTH Sin done in ignorace, is NO sin, Until you have heard the Truth with understanding; well then truthfully you haven't been given anything to decide upon; Just Ingnorant (no offense intended, just means you don't know.) Do you think God will judge us Un-Fairly?

Where did you hear this? If the Son and Spirit are caused by the Father, who is their origin, that would mean that they are not eternal, since they would have a beginning, at the point where the Father caused them, where they originated from Him.

Dear trust-in-the-name:
Not at all. They (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are all eternal. The Father is the eternal cause of two eternally existing persons. Since the Father is eternal, everything in Himself that He causes must be eternal. If Jesus Christ is not caused, He would have been incarnate in eternity before He was incarnate in time, and He would have always been incarnate. But this is clearly not the case. He was clearly a man. He began at a specific point in time. Does this mean, as God, He was not eternal. His divine nature always existed as the LOGOS, the Word of God. It's just that His human nature became incarnate at the point in time when the Ever-Virgin Mary said "YES" to God the Father, and then the LORD Jesus, Who was eternally begotten by the Father, was conceived by the power of the Father in the Holy Spirit at a point in time in Nazareth. You cannot show that the Son and the Spirit cause the Father, but it is Church tradition that the Father causes the Son and the Father. The Son could not cause the Father, because, besides being true God, He is true man, and a man could not cause God to be. No. Causation in God does not at all necessitate that there was ever a time when the Son and the Spirit did not exist. Since the Father is eternal, anything in Himself that He causes must be eternal, thus the eternal Son of God and the eternal Holy Spirit. This is the divine Mystery of the Orthodox Catholic Faith (Jude 3). In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington
ah pneuma: if they haven't walked with Jesus they will not

understand anyways. but thank you for defining some of the words for me and how people

like to uses these man made constructs. (hey just pray about it and truly believe and do

what God ask of you)

Let me just say that the "GOD" who walked in the garden of Eden was the Son, for the

Father can not be seen by human eyes. I think most appearances of God in the Bible refer

to the manifestation of the Son or the Holy Spirit. I have not read of the "Father"

appearing to anyone except in a cloud above Jesus saying "this is my Son"

I guess I better find out what "trintarians" say on the subject. hmm...

so the God Moses saw was that Christ in His Glory? Most of the time the clouds obsured

the view and even Moses only saw God's back from a crevice.

still don't see how this is a salvation issue but if you guys want to talk about it. ok. I used

to like to talk about flying unicorns and quantum mechanics too.

Question: why did Jesus have to be cruxified and return from the dead and go to heaven

before He sent forth the Holy Spirit?

have you study how the Holy Spirit took hold of Saul and had him prophecy? or how it left

Saul with David's annointing by Samuel and a troubling spirit took its place? i think that

happens a lot with the corrupt ministers we see now in the world.
Dear friends in the USA and all over the world:

God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt.

28:19). To deny that God is three persons is to collapse

the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit into One Person, and to

teach Oneness. Some protest that they don't teach

Oneness, but really they do and they must if they deny

the term "persons" on the basis of sola Scriptura. They

also pretend they are not sola Scriptura, but they reject

the term "persons" on the basis of a sola Scriptura

mindset, in the vanity of their minds. Go figure. But the

Church is the "pillar and ground of the truth" (1 Tim.

3:15), and thus, it is so because the Church says it is so,

and the Church says there are Three Divine Persons in

one God, only One God, the Father, the Son, and the

Holy Spirit. Glory to the Father and to the Son and to

the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of

ages; Amen. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

Wow wanna talk about ignorance. Sin is sin in God's eyes whether we are ignorant of it or not, doesn't change what it is. This is definitely some kind of man made philosophy & definitely not God's word!!

Well, i don't promote man made philosophies, so its not nice to read this. It may have been the way i came across, that didn't make sense, i dunno. All i was getting at; is their are untold millions of people in the world that get very little or even no access to knowlege of Christ, and that until they do, IF they do; then God could not find them guilty of something they were unaware of. Of course if you have heard and learned of Christ, and you know that something is sin; well thats a different story of course. Sorry that i didn't make it clearer the first time. :o

God speaks through His Creation, they do not have an excuse for not living morally, abusing others, or denying God existence and power.

Psalm 19

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line[a] has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.

In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
