That's the reaction people usually have to Raph. Maybe to Mikey, if he just told a really bad joke. Most people don't react that way to Donny though.
Don't get me started. Thundercats had so many retcons, absurdities and oddities...
The sword was either powerful or powerless, depending on what the script needed. One time he used the beam from the hilt to push a stupid button in a room he couldn't squeeze into.
Sometimes they would just be chilling out in space. No helmets, no air supply of any kind. Just hanging out. Even talking to each other, in vacuum.
In the first episode they were all nude. Even the girls. "Well they have fur, so that's okay, right?" Sure, but halfway through the first episode they all put on clothing.
You should get started. I think it would be a good thread to read. I only had superficial involvement with cartoons like the Thundercats - maybe half an episode here or there that I could watch without getting caught and a parental figure turning off the TV, but you seem to have an in-depth knowledge of such topics.
I'm sure @seoulsearch could put some spin on a thread to induce you tell a little more than you otherwise would?
I think that was a Trope of the 80's though "Powers as the plot provides."

Heck, even Shane, Niko, and Doc's powers were, well, flexible in the Galaxy Rangers.
As to Favorite Turtle, Donny's my man. Got to love the gadgeteers.

Being a more in-depth thread, it seems pertinent that the author would need to be very familiar with the subject material. I love cartoons from that era but for some reason never got into Thundercats (maybe it wasn't available in my area or had a conflicting time slot with another favorite show, I'm not sure.)

But I did know they were all named after artists, and after seeing superfans break out into all-out verbal fist fights over who was best, it seemed like an amusing question to bring here.

Long ago, I used to take requests for thread ideas.
Over time, I've come to the conclusion that I think it's best to encourage others to try out their own thread ideas. Every now and then someone will come up with an idea my brain latches onto and then I might do it. Sometimes I may ask an audience about a certain idea, but that's me initiating, not someone else.
But otherwise, I have to admit I'm a bit dismayed that usually when people imply that I could or should write a thread about something, it's because they: 1. don't want to put in the work to write a thread themselves; 2. don't want to risk the possible pushback/trolling they're going to get but are more than willing to see me get; and, 3. see me as a forum monkey/ATM to serve as entertainment that can just be given requests to do all the work and act as a shield for those who don't want to take the chance.
Now, if it's someone who does write threads regularly and is familiar with all the good and bad it entails, then I'd happily reconsider. It seems only fair.
With my limited time here, I concentrate on the subjects that interest me most.
I think you're a great person, M, but why not give such a thread a shot of your own?

This is why I loved Wheel Jack from the Transformers (along with Rachet, the chief medic.)
All the attention gets put on the boom boom, pow pow characters, but I have always loved the "nerdy" "fixers" and, as you aptly put it, "gadgeteers" behind the scenes!
I never really got into James Bond, but who was the inventor behind all his gadgets? Was it "Q"?
I would have definitely been much more interested in Q than 007!

Yeah, Donatello was the fixer, repurposing junk, made Shellhead, built the turtle van, etc. Glad to find another Wheeljack fan. Also why Mixmaster was my favorite Constructacon. I've a Perceptor and new Wheeljack sitting on my shelf still, along with Soundwave.

My brother had one of the original toys, but me, being a girl, was not allowed to touch it.
It's probably for the best, as I'm not very mechanically inclined and might have accidentally ripped off a leg. 
Soundwave was always my favorite!! With his cool computerized voice, miniature army, and the fact that he was the Communications Officer, I was hooked.
I know he's seen as obsolete now, but he's still my favorite. A few years ago, a friend got me a Soundwave action figure for my birthday.
I hopped on Ebay and bought his original cassette army as I knew them (Laserbeak, Ravage, and Rumble.) And so, a Transfomer-sized hole in my heart was happily filled. (I wasn't a Barbie kind of girl... I liked shows where was a lot of action and explosions instead.)

I would like to hear more, but he seems to more open up more to your posts. I think I come across a little too much like a troll...Now, if it's someone who does write threads regularly and is familiar with all the good and bad it entails, then I'd happily reconsider. It seems only fair.

I can't remember if you said you've thought about being some sort of author? I think you could, if you wanted. People would start reading a page, and get sucked into reading the entire chapter... And then, perhaps, decide they want to read the whole book - imho anyway.
Looking back at what I posted, I apologize in that I didn't explain that I certainly did NOT think you were someone trying to manipulate me in any way, as I have felt with others in the past. Please forgive me for not being clear about that. I was venting general frustration about some of my other experiences and I am very sorry for sounding like it was directed towards you.

That's a high compliment, and I surely appreciate it. I've often been told I should write a blog, book, start a YouTube channel, etc., but I think I've found the purpose for my writing -- to connect with people (send then correspondence,) and to help others connect with each other. My writing either has to be in conversation with others, or bring others into conversation with each other, and I don't feel I can do that in a book or blog. It seems to me that there are SO many people out there who just want to give a "message" to others. It's kind of a, "Ok, you just sit there and listen to everything I have to say!" situation, and if someone's called to that, great! But I'm personally not comfortable being a one-sided voice preaching to the crowd.
My goal with my writing is to hopefully get people to move and act after reading. I want to people to feel like, "Ok! Now I'M going to share my own story, and/or go off and start a conversation of my OWN!"
I love the the direct "conversations" of the threads, because they allow enough time for people to think out their answers. I couldn't find that in a blog or book, and honestly, I'd get so bored of myself (not having any direct conversations,) I think I'd give up after the first 5 pages!
Rather, I'll leave the books to the experts. Forgive me if you're read me gush about this before, but my current avatar is of the closing of a letter from my favorite author, Mr. Dean Koontz, who wrote back to me after I sent him a 10-page fan letter last month. The man receives over 20,000 fan letters a year, and chose to not only answer mine with a page-long letter, but also sent me 3 inscribed, personally autographed hardcover books. He even spelled out my full name correctly on everything (he could have just used the shortened version of my name, like even most of my friends and family do, but he didn't -- he chose to write it out in full each time.)
I was moved beyond words -- and sent him an 8-page gratitude letter along with my thank-you card!
Ironically, I really developed my writing style when I was in a ministry that wrote to prison inmates -- many with LWOP (life without parole.) The thing they most wanted to hear about was what daily life on the outside was like. Well, I'm about the most boring person they could have ever landed upon -- no exciting stories of club life or dating escapades here!!! I spent all of my Friday and Saturday nights at home, writing letters.
But what I learned to do was take everyday life -- school, work, church, a trip to the gas station -- mix in some humorous or thoughtful observations, and basically describe everyday life as a story, which is what I've carried on into my threads.

Michelangelo was my favorite ninja turtle when I was a child because he was the wild and funny one. He always was obsessed with pizza and skateboarded which I never really was good at skateboarding but I hung out with a lot of skateboarders growing up and usually filmed them skateboarding.
When I was around 5 years old we had a guy dressed up in a Donatello outfit come to my birthday party. We all created balloon swords and attacked him with them.
