Costantine wanted his far flung empire - with its assorted Gods- to be UNIFED,
Thus, he set up the Holy Roman Universal ("Catholic") Church.
This is just irrelevant screeching.

It's irrelevant to the topic.

This has nothing to do with the doctrine of the Deity Of Christ.
The Deity of Christ was understood and taught, in the first century, by the Early Church Fathers... long before the Roman Catholic Church existed.

Why- Christ IS divine!
He the very image of Jehovah!
This is correct. However I think this place does not accept non-trinitarians from what I understand. So expect to be banned.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭1:8, 17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Not "3 gods" - one God with a triune nature.
If you say so. yawn
SO many words have been conjured up by the Catholic Church, NOWHERE in the Bible.
Don't you think that strange?

There are somethings that we just know in part. When we see Him, we will know even as we are known.

In the meantime, let us not divide over our personal understandings that neither make or break our standing with GOD.

He is forbearing and patient and wants to bring us all into unity if we will let Him.

It is the enemy's plan to get the believers so distracted with doctrines and creeds that we lose our love for one another which is the proof the GOD is our Father.

Jesus (John 17:3) says it means ETERNAL LIFE KNOWING God.

On a Bible Discussion Forum.
I DO.
Shameful!
If you are a JW, don't you guys have your own forum?

May I suggest a video called "Monarchy of the Father" by Beau Branson. He goes thru some church fathers and the scriptures to discuss this issue in detail. He deals with John 17:3 in particular and how the Orthodox view consider the Father to be the "only true God" as the Bible states. He believes Jesus is God, as is the Holy Spirit, because the Son is eternally generated from the Father and shares in His essence, this is why the Son is called God as well, He is one in essence with the Father

The two have similar titles.
“Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you know the name of the savior ? The name of the one Lord ? It’s Jesus that’s his name.

instead af thinking there are two think of God as one and think of the gospel as the time he became flesh and walked among us then died formoir sins rose from death and ascended back to his throne in heaven where he came from

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭

you know the first time you read about Jesus in the Bible ?

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and then later you learn his name when he became flesh and walked among us so we can know him

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not

And the Word ( God ) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-3, 14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In other words

“And without controversy ( there’s no argument ) great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God became flesh and then after he returned to where he came from offering us all salvation in the gospel

God in heaven became a man to save us from death

Buckshot of scriptures won't work; or do you wish me to do the SAME?
