I have heard a bunch of reasons but they don't make any sense.
1. They say that California has the most stringent lockdown rules bankrupting the small business owners but that doesn't make any sense. I saw that Hollywood movies were not under any restrictions, and I saw pictures of Newsom dining out showing that there is no need to wear a mask and I saw Pelosi visiting her hair dresser, again no mask, no lockdown.
2. They claim that the "anti fire protection" strategy is not working, but is that really true. Some feel that the forests need to burn every now and then just like the Indians setting fire to the prairie in control burns. I see the forest burning in California and you know that once it burns it won't burn again, so there you go, problem solved.
3. Some blame the rolling blackouts on the emphasis on green new energy. But the real motivation to the green new energy is to reduce your carbon footprint, no better way to do that than to have a blackout and just stop using electricity altogether.
4. Others blame the "mismanagement" of the economy, converting California from the wealthiest state in the union to the poorest when comparing the number of people living in poverty. True enough but then don't complain about all the progressive things California is doing to help the poor. They have bail reform where they don't put prisoners in jail until their trial and they don't stop shoplifting which not only benefits the poor but also small entrepreneurs who steal from Walgreens and then sell what they stole on the street.
