Why as a believer I do not celebrate Christmas or Easter With the Rest of the World

I don't celebrate christmas for a number of reasons:

1) There is no instruction in the Bible for Christians to celebrate it.
2) The disciples never celebrated it.
3) No "Christians" celebrated it until around 300 years AFTER Jesus was born.
4) The only reason they started celebrating it was because of syncretism with pagan worship days
5) God always told His people to have nothing to do with other religions or pagan holidays
6) Jesus wasn't born in December
7) If I'm going to celebrate His birth, I'm going to celebrate it in the right season at least.

I agree with the above statements! I sometimes stand amazed at the ability of the enemy to sneak leaven into the pile and end up leading people into heretical practices or down a path that makes their worship or practice unacceptable. You Satan is against the following list:


1. God Almighty
2. The Nation of Israel
3. All believers
4. All humanity

I agree, and we are called to holy and to be consecrated unto the Master's use while walking a path that sets for a biblical stance
for God. The book of Malachi is right to the point of what God looks for when it comes to a spiritual stance. He makes 7 assertions AGAINST THE PRIESTS AND PEOPLE because they had become lax in their service, worship and sacrificial system by offering second best and what's left over while refusing to make a stand in God's Holiness.

Jesus deficated and urinated, but we dont read about that in the Bible, just because things are not mentioned in the Bible dosnt mean it happened. The Gospels are not a daily dairy of Jesus.

You are correct and I will also add that what has been written and given in the bible is sufficient for us to know what is biblical and or what is not...line upon line and precept upon precept while being open and honest with what has been given in the scriptures and being receptive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit combined with truth should makes the honest believe sensitive to what is acceptable in God's eyes as well as what is un-acceptable in His eyes

Well I suggest you re-read my first statement as I said That many who claim Christ practice Christmas and it is their business and simply stated why I don't...never once stated that you or anyone who practices Christmas would go to hell. Wal-Mart sells glasses if you need them and they are fairly cheap.

And you are correct in thinking that we are to witness every chance we get while being accountable and or exonerated based upon whether or not we open our mouth and warn the wicked man/woman about their wicked ways and what they need to do to be right. A lot of people world wide who claim Christ celebrate Christmas as the birth of Jesus and if they so choose then who am I to judge them! Having said that, I for one do not as I do not believe you can "Christianize" a ex Babylonian-Pagan-Catholicized holy day, as that which is crooked cannot be made straight. I know I will catch it for saying that, but the truth is the truth. Read Jeremiah 10:1-8 which describes accurately the practice of sun worship, the cutting down of a tree, nailing it up right and decking it with Gold and Silver. This practice goes all of the way back to the beginning of the worship of the sun, hence being centered around the winter solstice. The R.C.C. teaches a form of church salvation and wanted to get as many pagans in as possible. Hence Christ Mass! The same was done with the worship of fertility gods and it being tied to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, and contrary to the King James translators the word Easter in Acts 12:4 is Passover. I have a hard time believing that God would accept the blending of the birth of the righteous Son of God with an ex pagan holy day that has been Christianized and further more it is even more difficult for me to accept that God would receive a blending of the most glorious death, burial and resurrection of the Savior with an ex pagan holy day that celebrated fertility with the use of prostitutes and sexual perversion. That which is crooked CANNOT be made straight no matter how many religions try to CHRISTIANIZE it. On top of that the scriptures clearly teach that if we are going to glory then we are to glory in the CROSS of Christ as without His death, burial and resurrection His birth would have been in vain!

Additional, just to think a bit, if we were given a date (to celebrate it) then people who follow HOROSCOPES would have their boast or pride when saying, I was born in Capricorn, or anything like that.

I know it well because I grew in a Catholic home having that syncretism and more sins to repent (like The Oija, attenting to divinators and so on). I only grew around those things I avoid and cannot love ( I never loved that, but I believed partly in the horoscope lies)

I'll buy you a pair for Christmas since you can't seem to read nor comprehend my post. I was referring to people. As in PLURAL. not singular meaning referring to one specific person. So if you're not guilty of the things I said then my post wouldn't apply to you now would it?

My point about OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY is obviously ignored. CHristmas is Christ's OFFICIAL birthday which humans have given, obviously in the light that we have no idea of his actual birth. All monarchs of the UK Have an official birthday and their actual birthday, the official birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is not the same for all Commonwealth countries, they celebrate the Monarchs Birthday on days more appropriate according to their existing holidays and so on.

Therefore all this talk about when was Jesus birthday is neither here nor there and is not a valid point.

I see ridiculous conclusions being made about what satan is doing to Christmas, Satan is trying to destroy Christmas by removing Christ from it, so if you want to not bother with Christmas, then go ahead and return Christmas to Satan and finally let Christ be removed from Christmas all together.

I need to take a breath? I'm not the one that typed half a post in all caps in response to a couple of simple and straight-forward questions.

As for responding to what you said.

1. You're the one that said I needed to go study more because I didn't view things the way you did.

2. Ah, so you admit you don't know the exact date. Well then, if you don't know the exact date, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with picking a date (like Dec. 25th), and celebrating Jesus' birth.

3. So what? You can tell me Jesus' birth didn't happen on Dec. 25th all you want, but you continually fail to provide an alternative date to those who do celebrate the birth of Jesus. The only conclusion I can draw from this behavioral pattern is that you don't want us to celebrate the birth of Jesus at all. And the issue with that is it's strictly an anti-Christian behavior. Now, if you'd like to provide us with an alternate date to celebrate Jesus' birth, we can clear this all up, or you can just type half a post in all caps again in a huffy fit. Your choice.

But just keep in mind, just because some Christians like to celebrate Christmas differently than you doesn't mean they are worshiping pagan fake gods. One can have a Christmas celebration and celebrate the one true God. One can have a Christmas tree and say that it symbolizes the everlasting life of Christ without it symbolizing pagan fake god worship. It's all about how one views the symbol. If YOU view the Christmas tree as an ancient pagan fake god worship, then by all means, YOU should stay away from it. However, that doesn't mean everyone HAS to stay away from it, because not everyone views a Christmas tree the way you do.
