The Church is sealed and indwelt by the Spirit.
How many times have you prayed,"Take not your Holy Spirit from me?" Never. We are sealed and indwelt by Him.
The Holy Spirit could leave the OT Saints. They were still eternally secure. Now, we can grieve or quench the Spirit but he will never leave us.
If you look close, The Lord Jesus Christ got this seal.
Yes, Paul said they exchanged belief in a Creator/God for belief in created gods,
and the reason was wickedness, foolishness and stubbornness. (Rom. 1:18-22 & 2:5)
You make a distinction without a difference. To have the spirit come upon you is the same as having the spirit within you.
Yes, but I was merely mentioning the Holy Spirit was used for select people within a group of believers where today all believers are filled with the Spirit.

What those degenerated men ended up doing has a cause.
For? One becomes transformed into being like the one you worship.

Well, look at Genesis 6!
Angels were able to procreate!
Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth,
and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters
of men, that they were beautiful; and married wives for themselves of all
whom they chose." Gen 6:1-2
That was a timid translation.
It does not say in the Hebrew that they took wives -"married" - those women.
In the Hebrew it reads more like the following...
{beni ha Elohiym idiom: literally sons of 'elohiym/gods}
kept watching the daughters of mankind . . .
that they were very beautiful . . .
and they took/'seized passionately' to them women {'ishshah}
of all whom they examined and selected.
The fallen angels were all male.
Just like Adam was alone, and created male.
The appearance of beautiful human women drove them insane with lust and desire.
Over time, some of the fallen angels, being obsessed with women, began to imitate women.
And, over time, became the first drag queens.
Once the illusion and delusion took hold, these drag queen angels began giving service to
other fallen angels who agonized to have a female.
Having no female of their own.
A female that God refused to provide, since those angels fell before finishing the work God gave them for the prehistoric world.
Like Adam would have never gotten his woman if he balked and refused to complete naming all the animals.
At the same time...
God's faithful angels were immediately granted powerful grace to keep them from such unfulfillable desire.

The first homosexuals in creation were not men, but the fallen angels.

Exactly, the English translation misses so much of the Hebrew because each word represents several possibilities plus it must match the numerical value.
Ironically.... In my early days, and did not know any better.
When taken to a Pentecostal Bible study, I once prayed,
'Please Lord! Take your Spirit from them!'
But I know better now.

That doesn't say what you propose it says. Go ahead and post the verse that says the spirit can never depart.

Hi MrE ... there is a difference between Holy Spirit upon believers under the Old Covenant ... and Holy Spirit within believers under the New Covenant.
Example:
Numbers 11:
16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
...
24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

2 Kings 2:
9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.
10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
In our day and time, God creates the spirit within each and every believer at the time he or she is born again. It is a new creation ... as opposed to God distributing from one to others.
This new creation is what separates us from unbelievers. Born again ones are children of the Most High God ... children of God by birth.
Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1 John 5:1-2 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
To be born again as we know it in our day and time was not available until after the Lord Jesus Christ died ... rose again ... and ascended to His throne in heaven:
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

What God conferred upon Bezaleel does not change the fact that what was available under Old Covenant is not the same as what is available under New Covenant.
Ephesians 1:
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

It's the same God. The same spirit. He changes not.
Jesus came and explained that WE are the temple that God dwells in. It was the same then as it is now-- and His glory can and does depart. He is not kept in a box.... He comes and goes as He will.
