Why did God create Human kind.?

When i first heard of God / Jesus in a Youth Group they taught God created humankind as he wanted fellowship with a species that had free will

I of course read the bible and it soon became apparent that the Angels that God created first already had free will. eg Lucifer chose to disobey.

So why?

I still not sure why , so happy to hear peoples thoughts.

Because robots and even animals were too easy,
but creatures with MFW was quite a challenge!

I would like to discuss this a bit further with you since i've seen your good temperament in discussions.

In a discussion we have some phases.
1. The phase where we communicate.
2. The phase where we try to understand each-other
3. The phase where we use different words and concepts so we can be better in understanding each-other.
4. The phase where we're clear about each-other's understanding.
5. The phase where we agree/disagree after we finally understand each-other.
6. The phase where we respect or forgive each-other.

I think we're on phase 2 here. A lot of people agree on quite a lot of topics i think, but how we express our ideas into words is where things get passionate and lost because the intent to be understood is not the primary focus anymore due to passion one has on a topic.

So with this being said, i kinda of understand a bit of what you're saying in terms of physicality but IN physicality Christ did Miracles which the rest of us can't do. So what does this mean? That He's not fully God?
I would say no. If i were to relate this to a video programmer, i would say that The Creator joined The Creation and tried to play by the rules of His Creation. Of course since He is the Creator He can also bend the rules of this Creation in the form of Miracles which tells us mortals Who are we dealing with.

Does this make sense to you when it's put in this context as opposed to separating things and triggering people in the process?

For He has both a Soul and Deity in union.
Humanity has nothing to do with the body.
Its the soul!
