Why do men/women....?

Because they complement us, we need to feel safe and loved.... and because it's not fun to open your bottles of water by hitting them on the table :) ( Seriously, it seems like they don't want us to open those things).
 
Hmm I'll do the same question for the men here...why do men like women?

I'm tempted to say guys are clueless at times, but really, they're just different. And it's a good thing!

Girls are gentler, and we like the way they look to us for help with things. Also, girls can be sneaky, and we really love that when it's used properly. (Think Jael in the O.T.) Smelling nice and having eyes like the fish pools at Heshbon don't hurt either.

For the same reasons why men don't like it when women purposefully push their buttons. Sometimes we push peoples' buttons and don't even realize it. That I can overlook. However, when people know that something frustrates you yet they do it anyway just to upset you, I don't appreciate that kind of self-centered, disrespectful behavior at all. It's childish and very immature. Why would you want to upset someone you claim to love?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind an intelligent, strong willed woman. In fact, I prefer one. However, a truly intelligent person knows when to speak, when not to speak and when a compromise might be in order.

The way I see it, if you truly love someone, you should want what's best for that person even it means you might have to a make a few personal sacrifices. I perceive my role as a husband is to do everything in my power to provide a happy, healthy enviroment for my wife and children. My intent is to marry a woman who feels the same way about me and our future family. If she and I both are working toward the others' happiness, even though there will be plenty of times when we both will miss the mark, I will be satisfied in knowing that she tried. Her efforts tell me that, even though she's not perfect, she does love me and that family does come first in her life. Such behavior will both inspire me and drive me to do the same, to put her and our family first.

It's when married couples start thinking as individuals and placing their own happiness above the happiness of their spouse when marriages begin to struggle and fail.

I can't say as though I have ever had a problem with someone pushing my buttons.
