Why do men/women....?

Why are guys not very specific when they talk?.... Granted i don't have much to go by on this but when my dad and i talk he doesn't give any specifics and i find it bothersome XD Lol, sorry did any of that really make sense? ^^
 
I shall respectfully stop crashing the thread and say that guys are not very specific because, more often than not, they're not quite sure what they're talking about. :p
 
"Thunder bolt" refers to lightning and thunder together. No lie.

The irony is I don't know what you mean, I guess you have to be more specific :p

According to a study I read: In general, women discuss feelings, and men discuss facts. Women are also more likely to talk about other people than men. However, men and women speak about the same number of words in a given day. Maybe this was better suited for the random fact thread :D

Men and women communicate very differently. Women tend to give a lot of details that most men wouldn't give to the same question. Ask a woman what she did today and you will most likely get a lot of details about different events throughout the day whereas a man will most likely just give the major happenings. An example would be, "how was work today?" A man would most likely say "it was OK" meaning nothing really out of the ordinary happened today, whereas a woman most likely would talk for a half an hour about different conversations she had, the latest office drama, etc.

Notice I did use the words "most likely" because some women are not as chatty, and some men will chew your ear off.

Ahh i see, this is true you make sense :) I can totally talk for an hour about my day ^_^ even when nothing happens.... how sad lol
