At the end of the day I feel 'exhausted' and not smiling. It's not at all a wonderful feeling as I find it quite stressful.working fast isn't for everyone. there's such a wonderful feeling working fast. at the end of the day, you wear a smile, you feel great joy knowing you did the best you could. & the Lord is well pleased. i'm probably, at least a little, a "busyaholic"!!! since i moved out of my dad's house, i've only had 2 t.v.'s. never really liked watching tv, even when i was a kid. blessings to you
Robin Williams was so happy he was downright gay! .Well let's see...
Robin Williams moved fast, at least on screen.
Robin Williams seemed very intelligent.
Robin Williams stayed busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger.
Robin Williams wasn't exactly chubby.
Robin Williams enjoyed what he did.
Know what else Robin Williams did? He visited a therapist for help with depression, and eventually suicided.
Next theory?
What I mean is that God is well pleased when someone has done their best at work, not laggardly but honestly to the best of ability. you are incorrect about fast work. I have a slight background in psychology but if you want to believe it isn't that's your choice. you need to listen to the message. I never said tv's have anything to do with working fast. my goodness! listen! blessings to you. no harm intended. At the end of the day I feel 'exhausted' and not smiling. It's not at all a wonderful feeling as I find it quite stressful.
I don't really see a biblical precedent that 'working fast' pleases God.
My point was your 'fact' that people that work fast are happier simply isn't true.
I'm not sure what tvs have to do with how fast someone works.![]()
Oh, by the way, I'm 64 & a landscaper & tree man. I still can out work a 20 year old. Even more than that, I will challenge anyone to beat me in a days work when the temp is 90 or better! Bring it on.At the end of the day I feel 'exhausted' and not smiling. It's not at all a wonderful feeling as I find it quite stressful.

Sointlee!braggadocio...
A nice and woody sort of word,... Isn't it!
I get your point. isn't amazing how every time someone says they can do something that's an achievement, no one says something like, "wow, that really neat".Lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
I get better every day
exactly I dont know so whats the point in working fast. lolwhat does working fast have to do with the rate at which a garden grows? fast or slow, it has no impact on garden growth rate.
Because that's my natural self, working fast. Not trying to beat anyone. I'll explain iti n a different way. You can tell some people work slow purposefully because they are rebelling or they don't like what they are doing. that's a bad attitude 7 goes against what we were made for. God gave us all the knowledge & will to implement proper responsible, reliable accountable work ethics. Lots of people do just enough to get by & they brag about it. When your mind, conscious, spirit & soul convict you by telling you you should work harder & faster, you should do it. & at the end of the day your work performance matches what you were made for, not going against anything we were made for.exactly I dont know so whats the point in working fast. lol
who are you trying to beat?
That maybe your natural self. That is not everybody's natural self.Because that's my natural self, working fast. Not trying to beat anyone. I'll explain iti n a different way. i've seen people work slow deliberately. 1 young woman worked in the meat department of a midsize grocery store. you could see the look on her face, "i don't care, i'm going to work slow". she also wore a face of dislike & rebellion because she not attractive. know that the general attitude of people is not as accountable, reliable, respectable & responsible as it used to be. see how people have become followers & emulators? i'm not out to "beat" people in work performance & not arrogant at all about it. just saying i work fast & the weird thing is the hotter it is the faster i work. a story for you: i took a vacation to Hawaii a while back. on a rainy day, i decided to check out the economy, jobs, rents & business in general. i went to a construction site & asked the guy, "what do you have to do to get a job here"? he asked, "where are you from"? i said Massachusetts. he said, "you got a job right now". (i knew why he said that) i asked him why he said that & he sai, "i know you people in the northeast work very fast"oh ok
I think the more skilled you become the faster and more efficient you are but that takes practise. You wont get that right away in a new job. I dont think people work slow on purpose but sometimes bosses deliberately hold them back and dont let their workers do things or take responsibility because they dont actually pay them enough or value them for what they do.
not sure why you are saying you can 'beat' anyone though...seems a bit arrogant to me. iF you are older than someone whos brand new to the job or a novice, of course you will be faster than them!
Teachers also I notice beat up on young children for not being fast enough, But they are still learning, they arent deliberately being rebellious.
I think in some cultures they like to take things slow. There is a faster pace of life in cities for sure.i've seen people work slow deliberately. 1 young woman worked in the meat department of a midsize grocery store. you could see the look on her face, "i don't care, i'm going to work slow". she also wore a face of dislike & rebellion because she not attractive. know that the general attitude of people is not as accountable, reliable, respectable & responsible as it used to be. see how people have become followers & emulators? i'm not out to "beat" people in work performance & not arrogant at all about it. just saying i work fast & the weird thing is the hotter it is the faster i work. a story for you: i took a vacation to Hawaii a while back. on a rainy day, i decided to check out the economy, jobs, rents & business in general. i went to a construction site & asked the guy, "what do you have to do to get a job here"? he asked, "where are you from"? i said Massachusetts. he said, "you got a job right now". funnneee! no, i'm not the computer type. hardly know anything about it. in fact, i don't like the computer age.I think in some cultures they like to take things slow. There is a faster pace of life in cities for sure.
Maybe some people are just bored of their job. am not making excuses for them but if they dont like what they do they not going to be in any hurry as some jobs ARE boring.
In Hawaii or islands in general pace of life is slower and yes because of heat sapping energy. In temperate climates people may work faster because the seasons change and you have to get things done before rain or snow sets in. As you are not able to work or do things then.
When days are always sunny and calm you get ennui and dont see the point, you'd rather just enjoy the sunshine outside.
I think young people have shorter attention spans and arent able to focus as much as older people do, certainly thats true of many young these days. But they would probably beat you in productivity online which is how many people actually work and spend their lives on. Not working on a physical job packing or pruning trees but tapping on a screen and pushing buttons on a keyboard. Processing can be fast and it doesnt always involv human labour...welcome to the 21st century. Why work when robots can do the work for you.
