sin is sin. There are many reasons why one has divorced. number 1 is unforgiveness 2. they did not have support from family in the marriage 3. no biblical counseling before marriage.

Yes, divorce can happen even if one does all that yet the church would not have 70% of divorces if they did this constantly. in addition, there is an all-out war on the family God intended it to be. The church has failed, and the government has a program that rewards being not married. Although divorce has gone down as of I think last two years those who made it through COVID-19 that were married and did not kill each other stayed married LOL.
I was just thinking, too bad GOD didn't give the first marriage a pass. :)

well, marriage is also symbolic of God's commitment to us. Should He pass you and me up?

But some come like this before repentance, so the church needs to humbly receive them.

John 4:18 KJV
For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

I once heard a speaker say, "The happiest single people are those who have been married" I can agree, they know both sides of the issue. Too bad GOD couldn't give the first marriage a pass. LOL
To me it seems like you blame God for your situasjon? Perhaps I misunderstand you?

Jesus said who the ruler of this world is. It's Satan. The Kingdoms of this world are still his.
Paul states that if we marry we will have trouble in the flesh and it is better to stay single like him. satan is defeated by Jesus but we have to seek the kingdom of God first. but that has nothing to do with women divorcing and the church accepting it. my bible says dont eat with a fornicator if he calls himself a christian and did you know that 80% of divorces are instigated by the women. i think jezebel attitude has a lot to do with it and the church allows it they love" strong women". does it sound familiar somewhere in revelation? maybe 2.20

I know how it is to be and feel alone, I am devorced and have been living alone for more than 20 years.
I know about temptations and falls, but also the teachings of the grace (Titus 2;11-14)

As the world is in theese times, it is easier to be a disciple and fellower of the Lord Jesus Messiah the Son of God when living alone than having wife and children to worry about.
I know what I am talking about.
See life alone as a privilege, even if it can also be a suffering, remember the word about taking up your cross daily.

Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. - 1 Corinthians 7:27 biblegatewayKJV

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. - 1 John 4:9-10 biblegatewayKJV
If we learn to do this…..
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Our lives can become so fruitful and productive. Instead of wasting years trying to walk through a closed door. Look out not in.
Eternity is only a breath away.
Where there is neither male nor female…
Mark 12:25 KJV
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Marriage is not forbidden, but just don’t focus on it too much, if at all, because only God knows our future and we could be missing out on the calling God has for us. Go forward, be positive, be productive, go the extra mile and even as the Lord did, …
Mark 6:31 KJV
And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

Do you think purity is a Biblical virtue?
I think it has no impact on your marriage. You can follow all the purity rules you like, but it's no promise your marriage will succeed.

We can discuss that after and clarify our terms. But first, we should establish common ground.

Do you believe purity is a Biblical virtue?
Yes or no?
