Reading in the Old Testament we find provisions were made for those who could not come to the Temple in Jerusalem for feast days and Sabbaths. The entire nation of Israel never came at one time to the Temple on Shabbat.
As for the day of worship, the Sabbath was not given specifically as a day to come to the Temple to worship, it was given to mankind as a day of rest with Yahweh. It is to be kept holy, that is separate from ordinary work days.
YIeshua teaches us it is always right to do good on the Sabbath, and He introduced mercy into the law showing us that when the law calls for a death sentence, it may be overlooked, and so with many other laws.
The Sabbath, above all days, contains mercy. Must you work on the Seventh Day in order to provide for yourself or yourself and your family, praise Yahweh. Keep the Seventh Day in your heart, you are family in Yeshua, and there is no sin in doing good.
When reading any of the law, remember, Yeshua refounded it on mercy, and you will know which laaws are good, and still good to follow, with no fear of the curse, for now, for us it has been established on mercy.
Praise Yahweh, and do not teach against any of His commandments. This is not spiritually healthy, for Yeshua teaches us not to do this.
No it would not be for that was based on the old testament covenant. The new testament says to go to your place of worship, and were two or more are gathered I am there. If your place of worship is held at your house and you have others come over a hold that worship with you, you are still doing what is told to do.
Nowhere does it say in the new testament you have to go to the building the denomination you belong to hold mass. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you are non-denominational like I am I do not hold myself accountable to a denomination. I hold myself to the Lord our God, and in turn have others come over to hear the word and worship.
