One difference in truth makes it different. Mountain or mole hill, we're talking about the word of God. All of His words are true. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." If I don't have every word, I can't fully be fed to live for God...not one jot or tittle.

Are you really interested in seeing the differences? Are you really seeking truth?

ok. So easter is false translation.

Your bible is flawed.. It has been proven,, But you deny it.

it seams your the one not interested in seeing truth.

I grew up in the KJV, In fact most memory verses I still remember today (and there are many many many ) come from the KJV (I get laughed at all the time when I quote verses from memory) so do not sit there and judge me my friend.

I like the KJV, and like to use it myself. But I would never expose a new believer to that version blindly any more than I would expose them to the new living translation.

Why is believing a bible is the perfect inerrant word of God considered worshipping a translation?

smh

Because it has been proven to not be perfect in the English langage.

so to believe it is is to hold it higher than it realy is, which is called idolizing or worshiping..

Why would God give us the originals in Greek? What about those who don't speak Greek? Does God think they are less important? So what you're saying is we have nothing that we can rely on as truth. Do you think God would give us His word that we must trust and live by and not preserve it for all generations?

because Greek was the common language at that time ..throughout the known world.. Have you ever studied any history or just watched a bunch of silly KJV only videos on YouTube?

Why did God even have to? Why did he not wrote the original text in all languages and not just the one he chose. You ever think that maybe he chose certain languages over others because of the flaws of other languages?

Why did God leave s the original langages, which no one even speaks today.. Except maybe some sect of Hebrew, and even that I am not sure, all languages change, So we can test all interpretations?

I don't know Greek nor Hebrew, how can I study to show myself approved like the bible says if I don't know the original languages. I gues I take the Hebrew Roots movement's word for it or maybe the JW's got right.

That's assinine to believe God doesn't give his word to all people in all languages. If he did our faith would rest on others rather than Christ.

Ultimately, man becomes the final authority on what God has said.

Which is what KJV onliers have one.. Made man (the interpretors of the KJV) the final authority.

funny how things come back to bite you when you have faulty beliefs.

bibliolatry I believe is the term..

John 5:39-40 (NASB)
[SUP]39 [/SUP] "You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me;
[SUP]40 [/SUP] and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

smh

No one is bashing the KJV...its my favorite...but its not above the Greek text and it clearly has some errors ..even as it has been revised 8 times now.

God asked peter three times in the kjv, do you love me..

what is wrong with the English translation of that text? Did Jesus just say, Oh Peter. Do you love me? Or did he say something more meaningful which can not be found by reading the English translation?

Prove it... where are all the errors in the KJV? I've already explained Easter and you people can't grasp it... it's beyond your comprehension even though it's as simple as simple can be.

King James was gay..the only reason that translation is as good as it is, is because it was copied from Tyndale ....

That's why we have the manuscripts.....those are what He gave us..the KJV was good for it's day and it is still ok for today as long as you study other translations and check the words in it...

You would have to agree though, that we would be better off if God gave us His words in one pure Holy Bible, right? Is it possible for God? Even in English? Is it possible?

It's not the claims AGAINST the KJV that most folks are concerned with, any more than the claims against any other mainstream translation. It's the claims by some of you that say that it is the ONLY translation that is "ok". You claim to want to follow Jesus' words ONLY, but there is no special dispensation from Jesus saying "thou shalt use the KJV only, because it's the one I wrote". It was still a translation, into English, from good sources, by MEN... human men. Even though, I personally think that any men/women that undertake translating God's word, prayerfully, will be guided by God's Holy Spirit. Certainly the translators were, that did the KJV, and so were the translators that did the NIV, and the NLT, etc.... The versions I have issue with are the versions used by the JW's, and nearly ALL Biblical scholars agree that translation has several glaring errors/mistranslations.
If you prefer the KJV, then God bless you... use it. Just don't try to turn it into a doctrinal matter, because it isn't.

Just because you explained what you believe does not make it to be true. Your not God. I do not agree with your interpretation or explanation, because it is flawed.

Simple? it is simple. No one in acts 4 would have read Easter. or even the resurrection. What was discussed was the jewish holiday of Passover.. The church was not even old enough, or big enough to establish its own national holidays which would have been known to all. Imagine the people it was first wrote to seeing easter instead of Passover,, Yeah right, whatever

Believe what you want, but your wrong on this issue.

I love the KJV,, I am not against it, just against those who worship it. as an idol. this judging people who do not read it, but chose to read more modern versions which are just as good, and have led many people to Christ.

There's nothing wrong with that English transalation but there is something wrong with the one below. God doesn't mix truth with error.. if he did no one could ever know what the truth is.

[h=1]Daniel 3:25New American Standard Bible (NASB)[/h]25 He said, “Look! I see four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire [a]without harm, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”

Good one!...so as someone else put it...when Jesus was riising up in the air to go to the Father..the KJV didn't fall out of his sleeve?

see. You ignored completely what I asked. Why do you do that, Are you afraid.

john: [SUP]15 [/SUP]So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah,[SUP][b][/SUP] do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
[SUP]16 [/SUP]He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[SUP][c][/SUP] do you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
[SUP]17 [/SUP]He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[SUP][d][/SUP] do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”

what is wrong with this passage? I used the KJV..
