What do you mean you dont believe an adult can be deceived by the devil.? God has told us that the whole world is living under His deception. Even Christians have fallen for it. Its why people follow false prophets, and why they come to believe they are above God and can hold Him to our own logic. This whole world is being deceived by him, and in the end times will even make war with God for him because they allowed the deception to happen. If you know God is true, then you should know that this is true as well.

And God literally said hed be tormented forever, that hell is everlasting, and that we can be set there as well. We are meant to know this.
I kinda feel weird talking like I know it all, but when it comes to Christ's teachings, I think we should take it seriously.

And the bible is clear on what happens to the nonbelievers. Those who do not accept the grace paid for by Christ will be in Gods judgment, and every man has sinned. God told satan that he sinned, and what would happen to him, it seems clear that God hates sin that much, that hed send us to hell for it. If we are all of sin, and we know we are, then going without His grace leads to one clear path.

And we should not feel bad for the devil. God knows who he is and what Hes doing. And though we should take no pleasure in the fact that men can be sent there, we should not question God for it, He has given us all a way to be with Him forever, when He was in the right to destroy us and begin anew.

I think you need to understand the flipside to what you just said. A boy is born in Central Africa, or maybe Southeast Asia. He didn't ask to be born. He didn't ask to be born with a sin nature. He didn't ask to be born into severe poverty with no parents or no home. The boy spends the majority of his young life moving from here to there, always wondering where his next meal is coming from. He dies at 12 years old from hunger or maybe from disease. He never heard about Jesus or God at all in his life. What does God do to this unfortunate soul? He sends him to hell, where, according to you, he will be tortured and tormented for all eternity. Is that just? Is there any possible defense for why a supposedly loving and merciful God would do that. More importantly, is there any reason to honor or revere such a God?

We're not just talking about one child here, but thousands, no millions, of children throughout history that could fall into the category I just mentioned. You're telling me you are okay with that?

I agree, when you look at it on an individual level, and not on larger scale like most Christians tend to do, you see how morally depraved it is to believe in this sort of thing. I'm a bit surprised no one responded to my earlier posts. It seems like most Christian would rather stick their heads in the sand chanting "God is good and God is just" than face how unimaginably evil the idea of eternal torment is.

Bad people need a doctor and His name is Jesus. Instead of looking at a person as a bad person that needs to become good, look at them as a sick person that needs to get well, and it will be easier to have some compassion for them as Jesus would. I am only responding to the title really - There are no good people in the Bible to begin with. The bible is about a Good God who loved sinners

In Revelation 20:10, Darby and other translations render "for ever and ever" as "for the ages of ages."

In other words, the devil, the beast, and the false prophet are tormented day and night for the purpose of the ages of ages. Meaning they are tormented day and night for having tormented mankind for the past ages of ages and not because they are going to be tormented for future ages. For the same Greek word "aion" for the English word "ever" is defined as "world" in Matthew 24:3 when the disciples ask Jesus about the "end of the world." In other words, it wouldn't make any sense for the disciples to ask about the "end of everlasting." "Aion" in this case is clearly in reference to "age." Especially seeing Paul said that the last enemy that should be destroyed is death. This implies that there are other enemies of God that were destroyed before this last enemy. In addition, Revelation 21 says the former things have passed away. Jesus says in that chapter that He makes all things new. For there will be a new heavens and new earth (i.e. a new universe) where there will be no more sorrow, pain, and or death.

Oh, and Revelation 20:10 is not a mistranslation in the KJV (As some might assume). The English word "ever" could be defiined or understood back then as an "age." For just look up the Etymology of the word "ever" and you will see that it can be defined as a "life time."

Jesus did no wrong and yet He suffered. Why? Because He was paying the price for our sins. In other words, Jesus is our substitute who suffered and died on our behalf. True believers in Christ suffer as Christ suffered because they are conforming to the image of Christ. For the Son suffered because He loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. Also, suffering physically and yet having the love and joy of the Spirit is a true test of one's faith. For unbelievers can suffer and yet many of them have no love or joy in their suffering. The believer suffers so as to glorify God and Christ. It is the proof that God (Christ) lives within a person. However, the Scriptures say that a believers suffering will not compare to the glory that will one day be revealed to them.

No.

Denying Eternal Torment does not equate with justice not being served or people getting away with anything. I believe in Dualistic Conditionalism, which teaches there is an intermediate state like Hades (Hell) for the wicked. I believe Hell is a place of Torment and not Torture as the Scriptures say. For if the Rich man was engulfed in flame, we would have seen him screaming and asking for buckets of water. But instead, he was just asking for a little water to cool his tongue. In other words, the Rich man was tormented by the heat of the flame that was in front of him within the great gulf between him and Abraham. Now, don't misunderstand me. Hell is no candy land. It is still really disturbing place to be where a person will be tormented. For the Rich man desired that he might warn his brothers of such a place. Also, we don't know how painful the burning flames of the Lake of fire will be coupled with the humiliation of their sin before God and the entire world before their body and soul is consumed. Nobody is going to get away with their sin. God will punish people fairly. But don't kid yourself that God's punishment will not have any weight or effect on the unbeliever when they do reject Him in this life.
