Stephen if you are a christian then you not should be speaking in the matter you do. What you said to seoulsearch was down right dumb and far from uncalled for. You may believe what you want but as christians we are not to condemn someone for a different belief and espeacailly going as far as you did. I ask that you apolagize for what you said and called her

And you would definitely be the kind of Christian man worth submitting to--any Christian woman would be proud to be called your helpmate. Thanks to you and all the good Christian guys here for giving us ladies a reason to keep believing! :)

P.S. Thank you, Blain, and many thanks to others for their support. I can't lie--I'm human. OF COURSE what he said hurt, especially the, "No wonder your husband never spoke to you again." That hurt like a BEAR!!!

But, I have faith that God will help me through.
 
This thread has gotten so ridiculous that you've reduced me to crank up some Demon Hunter,just to filter out the noise of yer' posts Stephen. Just admit it dude,you started this post to try & bait people in with you nonsense so you could argue,not because you were seeking truth. So far you have directly insulted at least 4 women in the course of this thread. Way to go! BTW...keep praying for me.:)

Aaaand...men with this attitude are the reason I used to hate men.

I'm not trying to promote my own blog here, but I wrote 2 of them about how wrong women are (sorry ladies...but then, not a one of you posting here has claimed to be perfect anyway).

Much as women are to blame for a lot of things...

Men are too.

Because every one of us is human, fallible, and frequently stupid.

Ok, yeah, I got mad and can't articulate, sorry. I'ma go...kick trees or something.

For your information, I have a good female friend on my FaceBook account whom I like very much. She, too, has left church because she is fed up with the hypocrisy. I am also helping single mothers who have had their children taken away from them by social services under false pretenses, and many of these children have ended up in elite pedophile rings. I always get accused of hating women whenever I quote the Bible regarding "wives submitting." Take it up with the Lord if you have a problem with this, but to say I hate women is nothing but hellish lies. And CC also insulted me, but she's a woman so I guess it's okay.

Pinning the downfall of marriage onto women? We won't admit it? Please don't make such generalizations. I'll admit that women have failed men. But you know what? Men have failed women, too. We all fall short. We can't point a finger at ONE gender when two are involved, both are just as guilty at not stepping up to the plate in their roles. But how can we grow and encourage each other, to help each other become what we should be, when we're too busy pointing fingers at everyone else?
 
This thread should pretty much die right about now. Debating and arguing can go on forever.

Okay so you help woman thats good, but the lord says that what comes out of your mouth is from your heart, So i suggest humbling yourself before the lord and admit to him the wrong you have done seoulsearch. May he show you the light:]

Most women hate men. They will lie through their teeth and pretend that they don't, but their actions give them away.

Yes, because time and time again I see women whining and complaining about Christian men remaining single, or that there is a lack of men in the church. Can you really blame men for wanting to remain single? Well actually, most men DO want a wife, but they can't seem to find a godly one.

And i suppose you don't lie? I suppose you are perfect? Why are you bashing on woman? Men are evil too you know, we are equally bad or good- men and woman. Ask yourself this- would Jesus be saying the things you are?
 
Sounds like you need some healing in this area. As for your posts about not being possessive, countless people here have talked to you about the difference between it and protection. I'm a guy, I want to protect my figurative, future wife but I don't want to possess her. She has free will, if she shuns good advice, she'll reap the consequences, as will I, if I make a stupid decision anyway. If we're the Bride of Christ, we can choose to obey or reject our Groom's teachings. But he gives us free will. You're not letting wives do that much. And that is possessing them.

I believe Jesus would want me to speak the truth, even if it offended people. By the way, Jesus is the one who is going to be casting people into an eternal lake of fire--men AND women.
 
Seriously...we should all just walk away from this thread...nothing Godly or helpful is coming from it & soon we will start looking like fools. (left myself open for a comment on that one huh?lol)
