Bats are endangered species in NZ, so no way.
I'd report whoever did that and they'd be banished from the country. A cat wouldn't eat a deep fried anything.

How about hot soup in summer?
Just wondering... some of my friends say they went to the US, and asked for tea, and they got this weird thing called Ice tea, which was not what they were expecting. Tea for Brits/English people is hot, and not got ice cubes in it. Also its made from tea leaves, not fruit.
If asked would you drink ice tea? They would be horrified and say no. That's not tea!

They must have been in the south. In the north part of the USA it's hard to find any tea at all.
Ice cream, depending on what flavor. Soup, ditto. They are still good in the off season, just not as refreshing.
Would you eat green eggs and ham? At my job we now have a staging cabinet that has both heat and moisture control. They keep sausage and various kinds of eggs in there for 2 hours. Turns out if you keep eggs in a hot cabinet for 2 hours they really do turn green.
Also our "Canadian bacon" is basically a tiny round of chopped ham.

Yes well its probably weather dependent. those in temperate climes obv have different food/cuisine then those who are subtropical etc.
I'd eat green eggs, butI don't really like ham that much. I could eat spam though.

Chocolate that is shaped like an orange, yes, if it doesn't taste like orange. I don't like orange and chocolate mix that much.

Around here we call them candy apples. Only nostalgic elderly people eat them, if they have good strong dentures.
It used to be what kids ate when they went to the county fair. But now the big thing at the fair is deep fried oreos, deep fried snickers, deep fried twinky...
Never had a toffee apple. They look too sticky and painful. I don't like eating whole apples, they are too big for me. I usually cut them up into wedges, and take out the core. Also peel them, if they aren't too fresh.
I don't think I'd ever eat deep fried chocolate/junk food. It would be like eating sugar coated donuts.

I would want to try. This is something I am actually very curious about. Over the past month, I have been considering learning how to use them in cooking. However, I am unsure when they should be harvested for the best flavor or which dishes they are best suited for. If you have experience using them, please share your advice!
