If you held something in your heart, something that you thought was God's truth and it was pleasant to you and you loved it, and God told you it was not of Him, would you believe Him? And when you did, would you follow Him? Or let Him go?

If you believed your whole life that God is just love and there is no severity or hatred in Him, and He said "Wait a minute. That's not all that I am", would you still follow?

I believe that many are coming to a point in their walk where God is dismantling lies and traditions, that we love and have in our daily lives, so that we may love Him more than they.

I, myself, come across this every day. As I read the scripture, God will say something that points something out in my life that I enjoy. I enjoy Sunday worship, in fact I love it. But if God says to set aside Saturday for Him, I ought to do it. Regardless of tradition or the "grace" excuse.

You know, what bothers me the most is people proclaiming to be Christians living like the Devil and claiming "God's Grace."
BUT That is for another time.

What I am addressing today is faith in God, unyielding. Can we trust Him to lead us straight, or do we live with so much doubt that we have to twist His Word into something we like and hope He'll still accept us into His kingdom?

I would still follow. It is not easy to decipher all that Jesus wants for us. Listening to the Holy Ghost, to me, is a step of faith. It shows us what we need to get better at. It also shows our strengths and weaknesses. Giving love from your heart towards anything that comes to us from Christ to share with others is worthy enough to have the life he gives for us to win the battle. Thank you for this blog and I pray you have the victory in the name of Jesus, and God bless you :)!

I was just told by a poster I was not to study deeply. I have had to change what I found was my opinion about what scripture says over and over as I study. yet, so many of us will not do that. I remember being sure an adult SS teacher of mine was wrong, and ready to fight for what I thought was right. With deeper study, I found I was wrong and she was right. I had fought her hard, even going to our pastor. How humiliating it was to have to make the fuss I made right.

I am making a study, now, of covenants, especially the Mosaic Covenant. That covenant says:
"If obedient they will be blessed, if disobedient they will be punished." I always thought it said that you must obey to earn grace back then!! HOW could I have thought that! Nowhere else is there any scripture that says we earn grace through our deeds! So I must study, listen, and learn. And be able to change if scripture tells me to.
