I don't date, so I don't ask.
Kinda lost interest anyway, so fear is out the window!
Same here. Never have asked and likely never will.

---^^^^^Good point, Mr. Green, listening to a girl spill her heart out right after you just met might be more than most guys could handle. I didn't think of that, because I'm not the kind of girl who would do it. By "share my heart", I meant talk about Jesus and other things that are important to me, without being misunderstood. I would never spill my guts to someone I just met, the thought actually amuses me, hehehe
. I'm very reserved, actually.
Regarding your other thread, I'll see what I can do. But, to be honest, I have a hard time figuring out the rules on these word-games you come up with, so I can't promise anything. Maybe Snackers can explain it to me.........![]()
---LOL, "stick a fork in him"...........it's so cute how men sometimes seem almost scared of us girls. I don't understand it, but, "whatevahhhh"
.
And, FYI, Snackers is a boy, but he would lose a great deal of charm by being stuffed, and besides, I'd make a lousy ventriloquist, because I have a hard time keeping a straight face. I amuse myself WAY too easily............ What can I say
.
-----Oooops. Right you are, Mr. Khatru. As I said once before, Snackers LOVES derailing threads. However, I think you'll agree that Mr. Green bears some of the responsibility, and it IS his thread to derail if he wants to.
But, yes, you're right, I should butt out, as the op was really directed at the gentlemen of the site to begin with. Snackers is sorry. I'm double-grounding him............![]()
-----............I used to be as a non Christian because it was generally girls I didn't know much......maybe an hour in a noisy night club.
But now I want to get to know someone first, I'm not afraid of asking, but caustious in that I don't want to have lots of tries at dating, there's more at stake for Christians. I'd be thinking of the future, not just go out with the first attractive girl who shows interest and see what happens......
Some of us are just too dense to notice the girl who is mildly showing interest (raises hand). For myself if a woman is literally clamoring all over me I tend to run the other way, I've learned it is a sign of extreme neediness that needs to be healed outside of a relationship. I think for many of us guys we emotionally relate a rejection of our advance as a rejection of us personally, thus the fear of asking someone out.
----WELL SOMETIMES WE HAVE SO MUCH TO DO THAT WE THINK TWICE OF ASKING A GIRL OUT, LIKE NOW I AM STUDYING, WORKING, AND TRAVELLING BETWEEN TOWNS EVERY WEEK. I SPEND TIME MOST OF MY FREE TIME IN CHURCH AND THEN I THINK WHEN WILL I HAVE TIME FOR A GIRLFRIEND / WIFE :-/ BUT NOW I AM ALMOST READY, I HAVE NOT FELT ANYTHING FOR A GIRL IN 2 YEARS NOW. THATS NOT NORMAL :-/ LOL. JOSHUA 1 v 9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you." GUYS TAKE THIS VERSE WITH YOU WHEN ASKING A GIRL OUT :-D LOVE ALL OF YOU PEOPLE![]()
