So if I say I really like P.S. I Love You...are ya'll gonna disown me?

I went to watch that tonight but then remembered how sad it was. A friend and I both said it was too sad
even though it was supposed to so romantic.

So here are a few more classics I'm not sure anyone has mentioned, but should be.
Mary Poppins
The King and I
Easter Parade
White Christmas
Miracle on 34th street
The absent minded Proffesor (flubber anyone?)
That Darn Cat
Nanny McPhee (ok, so not so much a classic. But it should be.)
All the old Dr. Doolittle movie
The very 1st Dr Doolittle by Eddie Murphy (Yes that was good.)
Greater Tuna (or was that just a play)
The Cat from outerspace
Mr. Smith goes to Washington (the original filabuster)
That all important angel get's his wings movie: It's a Wonderful Life.

I actually have had a few conversations about this recently. For some reason, when it comes to media like movies, my retention/learning abilities sky excel dramatically. No pun intended...

If I see a movie at least 3 times, I can probably completely recreate it for you. Voice, facial expression, event, music, ext...

I'm a bit of a movie/music buff, so there are literally thousands if not more in my head...yeah...it's sad in a way, but *shrugs* What are you gonna do?

Seriously...I have a few other things memorized in life, but if things like college classes, scripture, books, ext could be fully and accurate turned into movies...I'd have them down. I mean DOWN!

I could probably quote the old Flash Gordon movie from beginning to end.....I've watched it so many times since I was a kid....lol. I could probably do the same thing with The Goonies

I love The King and I :) Watched it with my mom when I was a little girl. Thanks for triggering the memory. :)

I've got practically every note from every song in the Phantom of the Opera memorized as well as practically every line from The Emperors New Groove.

I think that's what I like about it, weirdly...I don't know, it's one of the few newer romance movies that actually starts out with a married couple who are very in love (even though they fight a lot).

Yes, that is very true. I just am saddened by the fact that she loses him. For them to love each other so much and him to die is a beautiful thing but breaks my heart.

Inconceivable!!!

My movie list is a lot longer than I would like to admit, but my favorite movie of all time would have to be 'True Lies'. Lots of action and comedy. Has anyone watched Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog? It's short, but oh so catchy and amazing. I love musicals, so Chicago, Moulin Rouge, and Phantom of the Opera are up there as well (to name a few!).

True Lies? As in Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jaime Lee Curtis and Tom Arnold? *blink blink...

"We have suffered since you blasted our kingdom..we can offer you nothing this year except our loyalty." LOL That's what I remember from Flash Gordon.

Yes,I loved Dr. Horrible. Joss always makes stuff so sad too...he lures you in to thinking it's gonna be all silly, but there's always a lot of really poignant undertones in much of what he writes.
