However, I must add that I dont agree they are the same word, I do actually agree with InSpiritInTruth in that but the concept is sitting right there, and I can also see it as if almost exchangeable between the two elsewhere also.

Perfect and not lacking anything also pertains to one lacking patience also, and various things around the fruit of the Spirit, but it speaks of bearing fruits unto perfection also.

I thank God people have differing views; sharing in love, respect and with good will in Jesus' name is how we learn and grow. Different opinions, views and outlooks are wonderful; its the Pharisee complex some folks have around here that kindles my anger. Thank you, Desire, for sharing in a godly manner.

I thank God He has received me in Jesus' name, much to your dismay. Whether you have been received by God or not is not for me to say, but rather its for me to pray about.

Like I've shared with other Pharisees here such as you, the difference between us is that when we see each other in Heaven, I'm going to rejoice that you're there, but you'll be angry that I'm there. That's the difference between my heart our yours. Way to live out the Greatest Commandment, Pharisee.

Just goes to show you that we are not BORN of God until the resurrection. If you think that you are perfect and no longer need the High Priest to intercede for you, you do need to repent.

I would greatly recommend to you that you make a list of all your faults and bad habits.And list them in order of how hard they will be for you to overcome them and master them.Then take them one by one, the least hardest one first. And work on it everyday till you walk in the Light.

What do you mean like turning from grace back to the law (the strength of sin) which is clearly the "willful sin" of Heb 10.

The sin of unbelief...the law is not of faith!
whatsoever is not of faith, is sin.

Yes, in an unkind manner I agree.

Under sarcasm it also says,

"his voice, hardened by sarcasm, could not hide his resentment"

Would seem to indicate bitterness taking root.

That is outstanding advice and I will indeed embrace it. I have James 1.19 taped to my steering wheel. Its a visual reminder that helps keep me spiritually grounded while driving rather than succumbing to road rage.

On a side note, make no mistakes, my Brother, I am indeed in the Light. Thank you, Jesus! :cool:

Or you could do as Paul says, and ask yourself:

Romans 7, NASB
24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?
25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin. ​

Funny thing, throughout Romans 7, Paul keeps talking about how his own efforts did absolutely nothing for him regarding his sin. It was only when he turned himself over to Christ that sin was mastered. Ought to try that sometime yourself, instead of preaching self-healing like you did here.
 
6 The LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen?7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it."Genesis 4

man has a built in soul ie taste, touch, sight, hearing. etc

the body lets you know when, you feel sick,happy, sad. aroused sexually. etc etc etc

we cant kill these, as they are built in us, for different functions ie having a wife or husband. telling your self, you feel ill, being happy etc etc

the point that i trying to make is, we have something in us, that is of human origin , to how we view different things.
some are getting confused by trying to kill something that was there for a reason, by defining it as evil or bad. etc etc.
