When your date begins talking to the guy/gal at the table next to you for three minutes straight. :)

So,
C'Mon, guyza 'n gallas, come on up with your best 'shot.'

when they start looking around uncomfortably (looking for a reason to leave)

When they tell you how amazing they think you are because usually they are usually being promiscuous by this time on the first date.

When they take their shoes and socks off in waffle house to scratch.

When they want to go hiking but have no way of negotiating a 3 foot decorative wooden fence.

When I show up at 5pm to pick them up and they are drunk.

I'm sorry, Liamson, but you're totally and completely wrong with what you wrote up above. I normally would avert my eyes and ignore it, but this time it is such a blatant mistake that I simply am compelled to right this wrong.
People who eat at Waffle house are almost always barefoot.

When he shows up with a wrist corsage

When he blows his nose at the table

When he grabs you by your backside to "help you" up into his truck

1. I have no idea what that is.

2. ...into a hankey he keeps in his pocket. (winner)

3. He's just asking for you to return the favor swiftly with your foot. ;)

I suppose in a sense it does add to the authenticity. :)

Good grief, have you expereinced all of these examples?! You poor guy..
The waffle statement made me laugh. They were probably fidgety out of nervousness of being on a date with you?

I got a few..

You know the date is taking a wrong turn -

When they take you to KFC (greasy chicken fingers anyone?)
When they call you by another persons name.
When one or both of you fart (probably from the KFC).
When they text all night to other people.
When they think they know what you want (they don't) and order it for you without consulting you.
When they say "Wow thats a huge pimple you got there, want me to squeeze it?" (with their greasy KFC fingers)
When they won't shut up and give you a share of the conversation.
When they make a sarcastic joke about something that means a lot to you.

And yes.. I have experienced all of these..

KFC... hmm... that would depend on a lot of things. If THAT was the date, then thats awful but if the date was a day of hiking and some fishing, maybe a picnic too, then hitting a KFC on the way home would to me seem beyond acceptable.

'Other people's names are not cool.

Farting seems like a way to lighten the mood. I know that sounds bad but, it says a lot about pushing boundaries of trying to impress vs. being human. If he farted (or you did) then its kind of a way of saying I feel comfortable around you. After all if this is long term material, then you are going to wind up hearing far worse things in the future.

Fixing blemishes is kind of out of my comfort zone.

I'm guilty of hogging conversations. Especially when the other person is hard to get a word in edgewise on.

Maybe some people (me) think that pushing buttons is a way to flirt. He probably didn't realize that you were being serious.

Makes me think of a CD that someone put out a few years ago of recorded "manly noises" for lonely single women :)

Please see seeKINGtruth's post above, but DO NOT follow his advice! hahaha
