who is preaching antiscience? Most of are beliefs are not just blindly following people. Most of us has studied this for years. including reading writings of all sides of the debate.

you do realise that the more we find scientifically. the more support YEC gets?

Hey Josh.....Oh I do have a view, but the view I have does not change what I believe about JESUS......He is Lord and savior, creator and sustainer, the beginner and finisher of my eternal salvation......I have acknowledged him by faith and he has promised to give me eternal life based upon said belief.....Having said that.....I know God created it all and whether it was 6 actual 24 hour periods labeled as days or an original creation to be wrecked and renovated in 6 24 hour periods labeled as days is irrelevant to me.......I have bigger fish to fry bro......

Ok for me, the creation VS. evolution controversy is not a science vs. religion conflict. It is a worldview vs. worldview conflict. There are 2 types of science: operational and historical. The controversey arises from differing assumptions in historical science.

Operational or observational science is the repeatable day to day scientific investigation I recognize as everyday science. Historical or origins science is the imagined reconstruction of the unobserved past based on circumstantial evidence existing in the present.

what say you?

I know right? To be very honest I don't know how he's avoided being banned for spamming the same thing over and over and over and over and over, and like you said I've seen many people try to hold an actual civil conversation with him to be met with a brick wall or backhanded insult to their intelligence. He is the first person I've come across here that truly made me love the ignore option. You don't even have to wonder what his hidden comments say, it's mocking people for believing the 6,000 year old earth, and/or humans and dinosaurs living together. I have never seen a troll of this magnitude and that added so little to any conversation last so long here. I love not seeing his comments.

old earth creationism hasn't exactly gotten to establish its claims in peer reviewed science journals either!

i mean when is the last time you read something like 'the horse sequence as an incremental series of divine creations' in the journal of evolutionary biology?

now if we can dispense with any further pseudo academic smoke blowing from you...maybe we can actually have that scientific discussion of the evidence that you have been avoiding for the past couple of weeks...

when was the last time 'nature' agreed that 'God used evolution' as the theistic evolutionists claim? when was the last time 'nature' agreed that the fossil record shows an incremental series of divine creations instead of a process of evolution as the progressive creationists claim?

i will say the same thing to you that i said to jackh...stop with the smoke blowing appeals to the academic journals...and actually show that you are willing to discuss the science...
 
there seem to be many ancient citys found in the last 20 years. that one in turkey, Gobekli Tepe is said to be at least 8k yrs old.
