my neighbors used to have restaurant with frogs as their main menu.. their meat cant compare with chicken or beef.. sadly its very tiny and full with bones

We caught the leopard frogs. We only kept the ones worth eating, but they're bigger than chicken wings. Also, the bones are cartridge, so easy to bite the meat off without scrapping on hard bone. (Strangely, I can do fingernails down a chalkboard, but hate bone against teeth... or teeth against teeth. That's my willie-down-my-spine feeling. lol)

But always made pets (tadpoles, then baby frogs) out of frog eggs.

My native language is English, or what passes for English here in America. My first wife was Russian, and during that prison sentence, I learned enough Russian to be able to follow a conversation and speak a little. I never learned to read Cyrillic though.

I'd like to learn American Sign Language some day. Not sure why. I just do.

A scientist decided to do an experiment on a frog once. He got it out of its cage, cut off one of its hind legs off and said, "jump frog, jump." Sure enough it jumped. The next day he cut its other hind leg off and said the same thang(huckabilly for thing), and somehow it jumped. The next day he cut one of its front legs off and said the same thang and somehow it jumped. Then the next day he cut its last leg off and said, "jump frog, jump." Nothing happened. He said again, "jump frog, jump." Nothing happened.

He runs and gets on the phone and calls one of his colleagues and says, "I made the most amazing discovery! I have discovered that when you cut all four legs off of a frog, they go deaf!!"

This is how redneck and hillbilly I am. Mom used to fix these for myself and dad. I big ole kittle(its a kittle not kettle where live) of pig's feet, pig's ears and ham hocks! You talk about some fine eatin'!! I'd eat everything on the hog 'cept the rooter(snout), 'boys', brains(though I did try them once, and tail and intestines(chitlins).

Living in Phoenix, you probably speak more Spanish than English.

Cool I know some french in school I got an A in french class at one school and the other french class I still did farely decent some simple words to remember...

English is my first language, but I had a French grandmother (from France) and she starting teaching me French at a young age. I started studying it in school in grade 7, in an immersioin program, my accent is good. I started teaching French, FSL (French as a Second Language) then decided to pick up university level French and almost completed a French Language Proficiency Certificate.

I also took German in high school, which I am currently studying at a local college. I have studied Spanish, can't speak it much, but understand a lot.

I love Bilblical Greek and read it well. Hebrew needs a LOT of work, at this point.

Oh, and Pig Latin. The language of hiding something from the people that are not your best friends. LOL

I am currently studying French, but only because me and my mom agree that it's easier to learn than Chinese. However, once that's over, I feel like learning Japanese in my free time.

ASL comes in handy when you're in a group of people. the kids and i know a little, and used it to let one another know we were ready to leave or whatnot from across the room. it's also nice if you run into a deaf person who needs a little help.

not that i expect you to be in a large group, or think that's any sort of failing on your part. i prefer to avoid them these days, myself.
