Uggghhhh
And I used to like using the emoticons.

Any hope of a patch to fix all this?

I miss the things....after all the clock needs to be used.
Eventually it will get resolved because many people will complain in Microsoft forums and then they release another patch to address their “features”.
This happens frequently.

use a non chromium browser for now like Firefox because downgrading is not recommended in today’s internet landscape.

Firefox is the continuation of Netscape back in the day during the first browser war between Microsofts internet explorer and Netscape.
netscape engineers then developed what we now know as Firefox.
so the design is completley different from chromium browser. Safari also works too.
Any phone using a chromium based browser will be affected too.
Safari isn’t.

I'm having problems with this too. When I click on the "agree" reaction emoji ( green check button), it just keeps saying to wait 3 seconds. I try counting slowly to 3 and it still doesn't work.

I just posted a reaction in Chrome browser. If I hold my finger over the blank reaction bar, the words still pop up for what reaction I have my finger on. I just slide my finger until the word I'm looking for appears, and voila!

I just left a friendly reaction to second times post.

All chromium based browsers seem to be doing some major update but Firefox which is a non-chromium based browser is not affected.
Now, it would help if the administrators here told the public if they're changing anything on their end, but i think it's mainly related to the September 19 chromium update which everyone in the world is going to get. Everyone who is using a chromium based browser.
The 3 second thingy is also something that i get when i try to give a reaction too quickly, so that setting hasn't changed but it's more obvious now that people try to click the emojis quickly since they're hard to press and they disappear.
Thank you for all the good input but I'm confused about your notes on the "3 second thingy." I don't remember encountering this before, though I am not certain. I have encountered it multiple times in the last few days and for reasons I don't understand since it surely took me more than 3 seconds to read some of those posts and the response options, and that also doesn't explain why I couldn't respond to one poster in Chrome at all, even despite refreshing the page. All this was fine in Firefox. I guess I will switch to Firefox for now.

The 3 second error is basically another anomaly in regards to the latest chromium browser updates.
Sometimes you get a black reaction screen on the list of emojies and sometimes you get a 3 second warning. Post #38 is an example with a screenshot.
Both of these errors are caused by updates in the javascript functions i'm guessing so we are seeing the side effects in these two types of errors so far.
Yes, use Firefox for now since it's not a chromium based browser and the other chromium browsers will get fixed eventually by another update since many people will be complaining in Microsoft forums.
It's a common thing with these updates when Microsoft or Google push out something that the majority of people don't like and then they roll it back ... hopefully.
