hand this man over to Satan for the DESTRUCTION of the flesh,
SO THAT THE SPIRIT MIGHT BE SAVED on the day of the Lord.
Dost thou mean "might" as per ... SHOULDA ... WOULDA ... COULDA ...?

And as per ... "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE"?

To the KC: Good luck with your rejection of truth and words dude....!
I for one am curious as to what your religious background is,
i.e. what denomination were you raised in?

Probably KC from KC is also curious.

I was raised a Landmark Missionary Baptist, but will note a few things...

1. I have through the years of study concluded that they miss the mark on a few doctrines that they teach
2. Have come to the conclusion that religious affiliation can mean and means nothing in this day and age

Okay, thanks for the info!

IMO, you are still brainwashed (even from early childhood?) into believing OSAS.

There are other things also like the oldest and most horrendous false doctrine
taught by all of the churches for 1800 +/- years ...
when Satan and the churches were in control of da sheeples.

God has allowed it ... 'cause he allowed Satan to be "the god/ruler of this world/age".

So, don't feel too bad ... for 'twas almost inevitable ... but still a horrific shame!

Whatever dude....keep following your commentaries and man made theologies.....good luck! You are beyond the ability to learn a thing as to reject the very words inspired of God places you in a position that is not open to learning and instruction...so...good luck!

1corinthians 5:5
Means he was handed over to satan, example horrible sickness or something, so he would repent and call upon the Lord.…46where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED. 47"If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be cast into hell, 48where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.…

1 Corinthians 5 tells you exactly what is being talked about here and what handing them over to satan is all about;

1 Corinthians 5:1
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

1 Corinthians 5:6-7
Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

1 Corinthians 5:9
I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexual immoral people.

1 Corinthians 5;11
But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner---not even to eat with such a person.

1 Corinthians 5:13
But those who are outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person."

It is talking about those who are inside the church who continue to live in willful sins, you are to purge from the midst of your congregation before they corrupt the rest of the members. Cast them outside of the church to live their life out with the rest of the evil doers, and by being shunned they might see the error in their ways and repent.

SOMEWHAT HIDE ... and it requires spiritual revelation to SEE the spiritual meaning.

News Flash for thou ...
ALL, ALL, ALL important spiritual Truth re: the new covenant
comes from/through Spiritual revelation from God.
I.E. God chooses who He gives the initial gift of faith (sorry, nothing to do with 1 Cor 12:9).
And this gift allows the person to see/understand that which is utter nonsense to others.

Unbelievers understand NOTHING about these things when they read the NT.
This, especially in these last days, includes Muslims.
If unbelievers understand nothing about what they read in the Bible, how does anyone ever get saved?
Romans 10:17 states, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Your version works out well for you, since you get to be one of the chosen few, right?

The problem is you guys want to always interject what if's......
If you are walking properly with the Holy Spirit guiding you, then you should not have to worry about committing a sin and not having time to confess it. Plus the Lord said He will have mercy on who He will have mercy, so I do not take the life and death decision out of His hand. But I also teach as Paul did, and that is to tell believers not to use their liberty as an excuse to sin or not to do something His Word says to do....
Who is "you guys"? I'm here on my own and don't represent anyone.
Who walks properly in the Holy Spirit at all times? Let me guess. You do, right? You'd be the first in history.
You delude yourself by thinking you don't sin. As a matter of fact it seems a little prideful (which is a sin).

Well they teach that and then will twist it and say no you have a certain amount of time to repent and make a confession....more fluff and heresy for sure....Christ died unto sins once and paid the price for every sin that would be committed for all the ages except UNBELIEF into JESUS........Blasphemy of the H.S. is unbelief as it attributes the work of Christ to the power of the devil and is a state of unbelief....!
Yes, that's what they did all right.
Said people don't seem to realize that we commit many sins without even realizing. Do we all love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and love our neighbours as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31)? We surely don't. That's sin in itself.

Yes, but worse than that, and more condemning than that ...

IF these sins against the Lord are NOT sincerely repented of before death,
the guilty one will NOT be allowed in ... to Heaven. Guaranteed.
So we're crystal clear now. If anyone commit a sin and die before sincerely repenting, he's bound for hell.
It's the Gospel According to ____?

That would be the gospel according to people who are ignorant of the eternal redemption, salvation and justification that is found in the perfect faith of Jesus Christ!

Your unbelievers get saved NOT FROM ANY READING ONLY,
but from spiritual revelation from the Holy Spirit ... that what they are reading is the Truth!
